2018 Dakar Car Rookie winner Hennie de Klerk is back at it and preparing for a third attempt at the race in 2022 in Saudi Arabia. He will race his refreshed and renewed yet tried and trusted TreasuryOne Motorsport Amarok, with which he has already started his preparation campaign.

On a three-fight winning streak as well as being one of the youngest fighters at senior level, the youngster has taken the sport by storm.

The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) Board has regrettably announced its decision to cancel the Comrades Marathon scheduled for 13 June 2021.

After having late last year, undertaken to make announcements in mid-February regarding requirements for qualification and the staging of the 2021 Comrades Marathon, the decision to cancel will come as an enormous disappointment to tens of thousands of runners; and has also been a tough call for CMA organisers to make, in what is the world-renowned Race’s Centenary year.

The South African Women’s Basketball Association has been launched with a formidable all female Board of Directors tasked with growing basketball and creating opportunities for young girls.

SAWBA will be led by Chairperson Nompumelelo Ramatsoga, with Kornelia Semmelink Vice Chairperson. The Board also includes Rudo Kaseke and Manyani Maseko who will focus on Legal and Ethics.

Emma started competing in Synchro Swimming when she was 5 years old. She is currently qualifying with her synchro partner for the 2021 Olympic Games to represent South Africa. She has competed at the FINA World Aquatic Championships for Synchro for the past 8 years. She qualified for the Olympics last year, which was unfortunately delayed due to the Covid pandemic.

Netball South Africa announced on the 08th of January that all planned netball activities had been suspended until further notice. Reasons for this was because the country had started seeing a spike in Covid-19 cases and the Honourable President Ramaphosa had announced new lockdown level three restrictions.
