Limerick selector Donal O'Grady spoke about his sides performance in the championship thus far and gave a mixed update on Aaron Gillane giving the Patrickswell star a "50-50" chance of making the All-Ireland final.

He also discussed the semi-final win over Galway, the previous meeting with Waterford and the differences in being on the sideline in comparison to watching on from the stands. #SportLK

Limerick's Tom Morrissey says his side are focused on themselves ahead of the All-Ireland final.

The Ahane man also discussed the differences between 2018 and 2020 and Waterford's threat.

"Earlier on in the summer, you didn't know was there going to be a championship but at the back of your head you were preparing for one. Those jogs and bits you did by yourself during the lockdown were with that goal in the back of your head."

Ahead of the 2020 All-Ireland Final, Limerick captain Declan Hannon discusses the importance of lockdown training, Waterford and the unusual build up.

“There wasn’t much difference at all and that’s reflected on the scoreboard. There is so much happening it would only be when you sit down and have time to go back and look at it to reflect on it.

“I think as the game was going on it could have gone either way, we were down five at one stage and came back again, which is testament to the character of the boys and they just dug it out and kept going and going and as I said, we are immensely proud.

“We are not looking forward now, we are just reflecting on what happened now in the dressing room. We are all gutted and just trying to lift the lads some way.”

"The boys embraced that challenge and embraced the difficulty and tried to figure out the solutions to the problems and just kept fighting and fighting. The boys coming off the bench then made a huge difference.”

“I know the boys worked extremely hard and they were made work very hard for every single ball they got. Galway were very firm in the tackle and didn’t allow us break the tackle too often."
