The Honchos welcomed everyone back from the Thanksgiving break with another heaping plate full of audio goodness. After discussing their families Thanksgiving traditions, a quick look at what they are eating in Dallas for Thanksgiving and professing their love for the Mandalorian and Jon Favreau, the Honchos carved up the following sports turkeys:

    - Callie Brownson and Sarah Fuller
    - The Tyson-Jones, Jr. fight
    - The NBA's 2020-2021 Covid protocols
    - The NHL's struggles to return to the ice in 2021
    - Some soccer, yes soccer, talk
    - The firing of Vanderbilt head football coach Derek Mason
    - The NFL roundup, which included the strange journeys of the Ravens-Steelers and Broncos-Saints games, fired coaches and GMs in Detroit and Jacksonville, the lack of a favorite in the NFC, and the case was made for the NFC East being an exciting division.

The Honchos ended this extravaganza with the always tasty Dope of the Week and this week it was Syracuse QB Rex Culpepper.

The Sports Honchos. Hosted by Paul C. Cuthbert and Robert Kuney.

Tonight's show took a serious turn as the Honchos realized just how much Covid was a part of just about every sports conversation. The night started with a discussion of invitation ethics followed by the story of the year involving Mike Tyson and, well, you just have to listen. First up was MLB talk with the Red Sox rehiring of Alex Cora and the new owner of the Mets. Then the Covid talk began after looking at the Dodgers outbreak and the lack of punishment by the MLB for Justin Turner. The MLB talk ended with La Russa's latest legal troubles.

The boys next turned to what the NBA and the NHL are doing to restart their respective seasons in the shadow of the pandemic, followed by a discussion of how college football is dealing (or in the case of Notre Dame, not dealing) with Covid-19. Rob then got a chance to plead his case as to why the "Two Jims" of the Big 10, Harbaugh and Franklin, should be fired.

The NFL roundup was Covid-free as the Honchos looked at who is in command in the up for grabs NFC, the future of the QB position, whether Dalvin Cook is a legitimate MVP candidate, and who is to blame for the mess in Tampa Bay.

The Honchos closed the show with a special tribute to Alex Trebek and Sean Connery, and then tied it all up with the Dope of the Week.

Big night for the Honchos as the geese flew over their houses. After diagnosing the self-esteem problems of LeBron James in the wake of the Lakers winning the NBA Championship, the Honchos talked a little NHL free agency.

The Honchos then turned the spotlight on football. After they looked at how Covid was impacting the SEC, they walked down the NFL path and looked at all of the big stories from off the field: no Pro Bowl, the release of Le'Veon Bell, the firing of Dan Quinn, the Dak Prescott injury, and, of course, more Washington Football Team therapy.

The Honchos wrapped up tonight's show with the Dope of the Week and an attempted tribute to Berta from "Two and a Half Men."

On tonight's jam-packed episode we started with a true confession from Rob and the boys debuted a semi-regular feature called "Two Kinds of People." Next they turned their attention to the MLB playoffs and discussed the epic Yankees-Rays series and the most impressive (or depressing) postseason streak. Next up was a review of the NBA Finals and the nature of professionalism in sports.

The Honchos completed their trip around the sports landscape by crushing the Washington Redskins and their benching of Dwayne Haskins, further proof that the carousel of dysfunction just keeps on spinning in DC.

After the Dope of the Week, the Honchos closed the show with a tribute to the legend that was Eddie Van Halen.
