In tonight’s Sports Open Line, Matt Pauley discusses the incredible record-breaking performance Yuri Collins had in last night’s Billikens game as they matched up against the Tennessee State Tigers. Collins notched a school record 20 assists (with only 1 turnover) in SLU’s 80-63 victory over the Tigers. Hear the comments from teammate Javon Pickett, color commentator Earl Austin, Jr., and coach Travis Ford who marvel at Yuri’s game. Matt is then joined by New York Times contributor and MLB Network Radio analyst Scott Miller to commemorate the life of Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry who passed away today at the age of 84. Perry won the Cy Young Award twice (once in each league), was a 5-time All-Star, and was known for his infamous spitball. Also on Sports Open Line: Craig Berube previews the Blues-Hurricanes game; Antonio Brown finds himself caught in a stand-off with the police; and producer Matt Podjeski gets on Matt Pauley’s nerves.
