Craig Kimbrel is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher who has spent 15 seasons with the Braves, Padres, Red Sox, Cubs, White Sox, Dodgers, Phillies and Orioles. He was originally selected in third round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves and made his MLB debut in May of 2010.

In 2011, he was named NL Rookie of the Year, selected to nine All-Star Games and was a member of the Boston Red Sox World Series winning team in 2018. In his 15 MLB seasons, he has accumulated 440 saves, which ranks him 8th all-time.

Josh Manson is a defenseman for the Colorado Avalanche. He was a key contributor on the 2021-22 Stanley Cup-champion Avalanche team that beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games. He scored a goal in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final and set up the eventual Cup-winning goal in Game 6.

Gabe Gross is a former MLB player who enjoyed a seven-year big league career and was a member of the Tampa Bay Rays team that made a World Series appearance in 2008. A former first-round pick of the Toronto Blue Jays in 2001, Gross is now a college baseball coach with the Auburn Tigers.

Don Davis played 11 years in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Rams and New England Patriots. During his time in New England, he won the Super Bowl in 2003 and 2004.

Annabelle Hasselbeck is the newest Sports Spectrum podcast host. Her new show, “Sports Spectrum’s What’s Up,” launches on the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network on Sept. 16.

Aric Almirola is a NASCAR driver currently racing part-time with Joe Gibbs Racing. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, dirt sprint-car driver Sam Rodriguez, Almirola races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as well as NASCAR’s Truck Series.

His first career win came in the 2014 Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. He won the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 in 2021, and in 2022 had seven top-10 finishes, including a fifth-place result at the Daytona 500. Almirola began racing nationally at the age of 14 and made his NASCAR debut in the Sun Belt Weekly Racing Division in 2002. He finished second in the Rookie of the Year standings that year.

Mike Sweeney spent 16 seasons in the Major Leagues from 1995-2010. He was selected by the Royals in the 1991 MLB Draft and spent 13 seasons in Kansas City where he was named to five All-Star teams.

After stints with the A's, Mariners and Phillies, Sweeney signed a one-day contract to retire with Kansas City in 2011. Four years later, in 2015, he was inducted into the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame.
