Welcome back to another episode of Locked on Seminoles! Drake and Dave dive head first into Spring Practice talk, discussing their biggest wants for the team this spring.

First, they both choose the offensive side of the ball, with Dave excited to see another dimension added to the offense via a revamped tight end room featuring heralded transfers Jaheim Bell from South Carolina and Kyle Morlock from Shorter University, while Drake can’t wait to see the highly-touted former All Big-12 transfer receiver Winston Wright take his first snaps in a Seminole uniform after missing the 2022 campaign due to injury. Will the 2023 offense look like the greatest show on turf with these additions?

Next, they both head to the defensive side of the ball, with Dave eager to see who steps up to replace the production and leadership of star safety Jammie Robinson (all eyes are on Akeem Dent), while Drake has his attention cued to the cornerback room, where Patrick Surtain was brought it to better coach up an inconstant unit loaded to the brim with talent and potential.

Finally, they discuss their biggest luxury wants from spring, with Drake hoping to see Caziah Holmes step up into the evidently up-for-grabs RB2 spot following Treshaun Ward’s transfer (and as a bonus, Drake is expecting an even better interior DL), while Dave wants to see a defensive end blossom opposite Jared Verse to form a more well-rounded, multi-faceted pass rush and run defense.
