SSAA Podcast

I will give you moment to giggle a little bit since we are now on episode 69.

Done?

OK. This took a good while to prepare. On this episode of the Ass Backwards Anime Podcast, we bring to you the kind of class that has been needed on this show. We bring to you a very unique show that may have gone overlooked. That show is called Bartender. We go through the entire eleven episodes while drinking the various mixed drinks that were presented throughout the series. Eleven episodes, eleven drinks. If you are of legal drinking age, you can join along with us as we talk all about this series.

We are still preparing for our very classy episode. In the meantime, here is a buffer episode. Gothic Garra and Naruto (really?) from the Konoha Corner Podcast join us to talk about the upcoming anime season. Also, Funk.

Actually, this episode is way too late. You can blame Foxy for suggesting that I release this episode before 66. If you couldn’t tell based on the conversation, this was recorded some time ago. I usually try to go for timeless, but we always end up screwing that up somehow. Regardless, this is the next installment of the ongoing series known only to me as Episode 8 Ultimate. We talk about giant robots. Then, we talk about Batman. Rinse. Repeat. Sketch stops by again to talk about robots too. It is somewhere there if you can find it amongst all the Batman talk.

This episode is proof that if you bother me enough on Twitter while I am at work, I will record an episode with you just so you can shut up. Josh Dunham thought it would be best to respond to a comment we made on a previous episode about Cowboy Bebop being a bit overrated as compared to some other shows that he likes. You mad already audience? I thought it was best that we talked about this on a medium where we can understand him better. Luckily for Josh, we ended up straying from the subject and start talking about our roles as podcasters. All that and we tell you something that you should already be aware of on this episode of the Ass Backwards Anime Podcast.

Oh hey, Peterson here. Somehow I got conned into doing a solo episode. So, since I got an awesome number and since it is almost Halloween and since I never talk about any other than animes, dramas and cartoons, why not do an episode on mangas, starring the Bible's (main) antagonist, Satan. (I think) I do have the attention span of a gnat, so I’ll find a way to make this fun, somehow..

Late to the preview party again. Recorded from the past of the future comes this episode of the Ass Backwards Anime Podcast. Our not-guest this time is Funkatron. I should stop mentioning in the notes when he comes on. Summer is over and now we have a new set of anime that we have to be bombarded with. Good news everyone, I care enough to be casually optimistic about every show that will be coming out. I will not fail to give anything below a passing grade. I will remain on this show as the defender of the weak. We also have our final say on the last season of shows.

We finally deliver. Here is our interview with Reuben Langdon, voice of Dante from Devil May Cry 3 and 4, Ken Masters from Street Fighter 4 as well as countless roles in commercials, television and movies. You should go to his official site if you want to get a full list of his credits. We manage to catch him on his free time to talk about recent events in the Devil May Cry series, how fast Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is, and why he started up his company, Just Cause Productions.

The SSAG is back. Now with more dogs. I thought I would commemorate the occasion with another broad topic that I am sure we could have separated into individual episodes, but this was suppose to be a sort of monthly magazine for you guys so we had to jam everything we could into this episode so we can prepare our SSAG coverage of specific games for another time. If you guys want a topic for next month’s edition, write in and suggest some topics. So, on this episode we talk about all the major Capcom franchises we can think of. We made sure to keep a tight ship for this one. Richy McBeefy from the NPC Podcast makes his triumphant return to the show and Soul Bro Ryu of Gundamn @ MAHQ fame also stops by to chat with us about all things Capcom. You think he was a fan or something. Click here to download episode (Right-click and Save As) Your browser does not support this audio Click to read more »

I paused from playing the new Deathspank to bring you a new episode of the podcast. I hope you enjoyed the little break we forced upon you. We are back to recording regularly and we shouldn’t be taking anymore extended breaks. In this episode, you will find new reasons to hate me along with a bunch of recommendations of several sports related titles. As usual, we hit a variety of mediums and I am sure your interests will be peaked regardless of your little knowledge of actual sports. Trust me, some of these go beyond the realm of reality.
