St. John's handed Marquette their 2nd straight loss, solidifying their place at the top of the Big East. It's a key win ahead of a massive matchup at UConn on Friday. Michigan State had built a nice cushion in the Big Ten standings before losing both legs of the LA swing - falling to both USC and UCLA. They are now tied with Purdue and MIchigan in the loss column. Is the Big Ten up for grabs? UCLA is moving in the right direction having won 6 straight. Kentucky loses again, on the road in Oxford - that's 4 out of 5 for BBN. The problem? They've surrendered 90.8 ppg in those losses. Elsewhere in the SEC, Florida holds off Vandy without Walter Clayton. The Big 12 gets more interesting at the top. Arizona and Texas Tech both won Tuesday night, creating a two-game gap between Houston, Arizona, and Texas Tech before we get to Kansas and Iowa State with 4 Big 12 losses each. Georgia Tech continues their habit of knocking off top ACC teams under Damon Stoudamire - winning for the second straight season in Littlejohn in OT.
