Joey Pepper is a bartender at Tørst in Brooklyn and consults on the beer list at the bar's embedded restaurant, Luksus. He's also an aspiring homebrewer and one of the most knowledgeable dudes about beer that you're likely to ever meet. He tells us about how he got started at Tørst and what homebrew he's been concocting lately. We also discuss his collaborations with Evil Twin and Sante Adairius.

Episode 34 - Dave Brodrick, Blind Tiger Ale House
Today we're stoked to welcome the owner of one of our favorite beer bars in New York City, Dave Brodrick of the Blind Tiger Ale House in the West Village. We've been going to the Tiger for nearly a decade now (some of us remember it from the original location) and it never ceases to be awesome. That's almost purely a reflection of Dave who's been living the good life up in Vermont for the past five years, opening both the Worthy Kitchen and the Worthy Burger in Woodstock and South Royalton respectively. Dave talks to us about how he got into the bar business in the first place and divulges some transcendental meditation knowledge about how he decided to start The Beanery, a new coffee-focused brewery he runs with some of his business partners out of Smutt Labs in New Hampshire.
***AS ALWAYS: Please feel free to email us with any questions, complaints, whimpers, or whines. We read everything we get and we'll try to respond as quickly as we can. If not online, then on air! We'll keep doing more of these mail and news shows if you guys keep writing in. Thanks!!!***
