Texas spirits producers are courageous pioneers reviving an industry that had been dead in the state since prohibition.  The industry is young but has grown exponentially. When Covid-19 hit their state they sprung into action and voluntarily shut down spirits production to make had sanitizer for Texans. Unfortunately social distancing orders are killing this young industry because they rely heavily on face to face customer interactions to generate the revenue they need to survive, which isn't possible during a pandemic. #StillStrongTX is a Texas Whiskey Association initiative to make some small changes to 100 year old antiquated laws that would allow the free market to save this industry.
