Stories Fables Ghostly Tales

Weeeelcome you amazing people! This is your Monday morning, evening, or night 😎 and I hope it is wonderful.

Supporters, Nero Wolfe receives a call from his dentist at some ungodly hour and you know how it is - he's naturally...annoyed, let alone late at night. Well today, he has a good reason to be calling Nero and not just because Nero owes him money.

The poor guys is flustered, confuzzled, and thoroughly wound up; to those that know this guy, they wouldn't be surprising really.  Archie, then receives a call from someone totally unexpected...who is then GAGGED???! Who is the lady that called him? Why is she calling him? And why...Archie?

Folks, this episode had me thinking up, down, left, and right; but all in all, an episode....sure to delight 😸

As for how hard this was to remaster, I'm giving it:

5 Nero's out of 10 Archie's

A couple of skips, clicks, errors, but nothing significant like lost audio, or damaged audio files. But thanks to your support the adjustments have been made so much easier using the "Music Balance" plugin that auto-levels music compared to vocals. Just epic!

That being said, thank you all for being amazing!!

Today I bring to you Hisashi Ouchi and man completely irradiated from head to toe, and essentially killed by company negligence. The lack of proper safety protocol, education, and training, took this mans life, and a number of others. This research piece sees us know more about what happens to the human body when 17 Sieverts, which is the equivalent of 3.4million dental X-rays, HITS the body.....No surprise...just awful. Please see below the bibliography of all the research compiled in today's episode, and I hope you really enjoyed listening to it.

Join me today as I go through our 800th episode, that's both a research piece, and a  thank you, to you amazing people.

A HUUUUGE thank you to my amazing supporters - that's you lovelies, where I thank you individually as always. You are amazing people, and I'm lucky to have all of you. 💜💜💜

Ohhhh yes, it's time for your Nero Wolfe episode - and it's all about DIAMONDS 💎

What happens in today's episode?

- Archie get's duped!

- Nero get's Beer!

- A thief gets indicted for murder....that escalated quickly!

Yes folks, a jam packed episode for your loveliest ears. This one actually had a BLOOPER in it that I did not expect to hear - near the end of this episode Archie repeats the name of the female actress, not once, but twice, and flubs it completely - fixing it very quickly though, talk about a save. But I caught it and removed it :P (lucky for him) but definitely a first for a long while. Either way, a great episode.

HP Lovecraft is a fantastic author, that brought us Call of the Cthulhu, but I wanted to explore BEFORE those kickarse stories came about, before he got big and recognised. I wanted to find out what stories he wrote, prior to his big "future" break!

This episode I'm bringing in a set of new audio pieces, and a set of special effects to bolster the mood. Thanks to you lovelies I can really flex it and put some effort into the atmosphere. I've been utilizing instrumentals and atmosphere music to also support the narrative, and I hope you all really love it - it's thanks to you that I get to do this awesome work.

Be sure to stay till the end where I talk about Lovecraft's background within this story, and how he came to write this piece titled "HE", I found it really intriguing and I hope you do to.

Cheers you lovelies and have an AWESOME week! Reach out to me and say hi! at any time on [email protected] it's always great to hear from my supporters!

Today I bring you a heavily  remastered episode of the Nero Wolfe variety - The HASTY WILL! This one was a doozy to repair, I can tell yah! But I've learned a lot in repairing audio, and was able to put that knowledge to good use.

In this episode, we discover:

• A famous man with a twin enters Nero’s consultation seeking a witness to his Will, in which Archie then complies - why...I have no idea, but NERO does!
• Love seems to be the point of contention…between two twins...this surely won't bode well...
• Is money enough motivation to kill his estranged brother? Abso-freakinglutely....but....it's the HOW!
• Archie is yet again….”fired” which you know what that means – something nefarious...
• A painting that is FAR more important that just a mere painting...

Courtesy of your support I've been able to purchase this little compact shield, that has allowed me to isolate my audio further, which means even less auditory anomalies. Thank you so much guys and gals!

Mates, you are in for a treat with today's episode - tiny bit predictable, however, a lot of fun nonetheless!

Thank you for being amazing mates, and have a WONDERFULLY awesome week. Lotsa love your way mates 😽
