Episode 94 with Quincy Lavon Carter
This is an episode we hope reaches at least one person who is dealing addiction and inspires them.
Quincy has battled an addiction and is winning that battle with a complete overhaul of his mindset, his faith, and his daily approach to life in general. Not to mention his commitment to AA.
The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback's 1st love was baseball. Carter, who grew up near Atlanta, GA, was selected in baseball's June Amateur Draft out of high school.
But, Carter opted to play college football at the University of Georgia, where he was a star qb. He was selected in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft after his junior season as a Bulldog.
A career which was short lived due to ego and that prior life which was dictated by an addiction.
He is a proud Bulldog to this day and is optimistic about UGA's chances this season especially since they are the new #1 team in the country after Alabama fell to Texas A&M.
Carter currently trains up and coming youth & high school quarterbacks.
