The boys were cautiously optimistic about the flattening trend of the Covid19 effects on our country. This may be the week in which the number of confirmed cases and deaths takes a downward trend.

Big Mike was giddy about his recent trend of cardio workouts and referred to his "fat suit" to which Clynch told him that his "man boobs" or moobs are disappearing. 

That evolved into a discussion about how the Austin, Texas restaurant and service community are working together in some aspects to help keep others' business open by merging products to order online.

All of this optimism led to hopes the sports world may return sooner than later. That's when former University of Oklahoma and NFL running back great, Quentin Griffin entered the Man Cave. 

Griffin talked about winning a national title at OU and scoring half a dozen touchdowns against Texas in 2000. The big story revealed was the fact that Griffin and Coach Mo played football together in high school. A compelling story to say the least. Griffin said Mo was the fastest guy he's seen.

Of course, that led to Mo's big head nearly exploding. haha

The boys took a serious approach due to this being week 3 of the Covid19 quarantine. From taking care of their physiques while at home to the realization that there is no true definitive end in site to the effects of the Coronavirus on normal every day life.

Clynch, Coach Mo, and Big Mike all offered valuable feedback on dealing with this uncertain time.

The mood was lightened when former Texas Longhorn football legend and NFL star, Eric Metcalf jumped inside the Man Cave from his home in Seattle, Washington. 

The legendary multipurpose football talent discussed a multitude of topics including the current state of the National Football League, his advice to the younger generation of football talent, and cigars.

Clynch experienced a fan boy moment when he admitted Metcalf was his sports hero as a young teenager and asked Metcalf about being a trendsetter with those trademark orange tights he wore under his football pants.

A reunion of sorts took place Inside the Man Cave, one with former East Texas sports media roots. KVUE morning news anchor, Bryan Mays and Clynch talked sports again as they once did at KTRE in Lufkin, TX and on KVUE sports in ATX.

Meanwhile, Coach Mo and Big Mike just rolled their eyes as these two dropped inside jokes and gushed over the potential of SFA men's basketball advancing to the sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament if Covid19 didn't happen.

B-Mays offered some solid takes on the world without sports currently and discussed at length his favorite Kris Clack moments as a Texas Longhorn and as a McDonald's All-American at L.C. Anderson High School in Austin. 

Speaking of, the 1st McDonald's All-American signed by the University of Texas men's basketball program entered the Man Cave. One of Austin's favorite sons talked about recently having his jersey number retired at Anderson High School. KC also talked about his favorite moments while a Longhorn and his professional career overseas and in the NBA D League.

Episode  7 is a first. Coach Mo was called to duty by his better 1/2, his wife. So, Maurice popped his head in for a segment 2 interview with the man who started Occupy Left Field, which is arguably the best party in college baseball. Marc Pena, who grew up a devoted Texas Longhorn fan and once played baseball, started a tailgate party outside of the left field fence of Disch-Falk Field, the home of the University of Texas baseball program.

Over the past fourteen seasons, Pena's left field party evolved into the Occupy Left Field, and a family. You can follow him and his humor and passion for UT baseball, @Occupy_LF

Pena's Man Cave story took place at 2009 College World Series in Omaha. It included a stop at a casino across the river into Council Bluffs, Iowa. He also discussed the depression caused by Covid19 which cancelled the remainder of the college baseball season.

It's been a bizarre few weeks without Texas baseball and there's that possibility we may not see any more baseball period in 2020.

Meanwhile, Clynch and Big Mike decided to deliver some hot takes about the Coronovirus and the indefinite closing of favorite businesses locally in Austin, TX.

But, the highlight outside of the interview with Pena was the political rant by both Clynch and Big Mike.

A member of perhaps the best recruiting class in college basketball history stepped into the The Man Cave.  Ray Jackson told some of his best stories as a member of the University of Michigan's famed Fab 5 in the early 1990s. The pride of Austin's LBJ High School also talked about his drive to unite his community while mentoring youth and developing young basketball talents.

The boys had to clean up their act for a lady in the Man Cave. Legendary Texas Longhorn catcher, Megan Willis literally took a break from literally painting inside of  her home to talk about UT softball. Willis also talked about her favorite stories from her playing days including her battery mate, Cat Osterman.

Prior to her arrival, Mo and Mike ribbed Clynch for the dance video he posted on Twitter, @ShawnC_ATX using an app. He didn't pull a hamstring, but he was accused of twerking.

Covid 19 topics included the attire folks who work from home during the quarantine.

Social distancing is a must, and the boys took shots at one another from a distance.
Mainly towards Clynch due to being vertically challenged.

Since Clynch was in the sports media since the 20th century, he elaborated on his toughest interviews including an attractive one during a Super Bowl Media Days session. Her name is Ines Sainz, but none of they guys could remember not even Clynch and he actually did a random story about her.. 

Clynch and Mike admitted to strangely talking to themselves in the mirror, which is odd, meanwhile, Mo just laughed, a lot.

NFL free agency has delivered the excitement in a sports less world. 

And, Clynch's Mom aka Mama C was randomly discussed, but why?

Clynch, Big Mike, and Coach Mo get acquainted in the first episode of Stories Inside the Man Cave at Slab BBQ in Austin, TX.

We described where our man caves are located and shared embarrassing stories which we experienced earlier in life, moments we'll never forget and ones which others won't allow us to forget.

Coach Mo, the only true athlete of the trio, described his football playing days at Texas A&M and Sam Houston State University. Mo is currently the owner of the gym, Coach Mo's Fitness in northwest Austin.

Big Mike, a lifetime Longhorn and an entrepreneur, is the designer, owner and operator of Last Stand Hats. Big Mike has endless HOT takes.

Clynch, a native of Austin, TX and a proud SFA Lumberjack, recently made a bold career move as a sports reporter/anchor in the media to pharmaceutical sales, but his love of storytelling remains.

As for the 1st podcast:

The Coronavirus began to affect the USA during this recording and the threat of major cancellations were possibilities.

The topic of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and the fact legendary college basketball coach, Eddie Sutton has yet to be inducted. But, he may be in April of 2020. Sutton was a mentor to current Stephen F. Austin State University men's basketball coach, Kyle Keller and he discussed Sutton's influence on his career.
