Tamarindo con Brenda is back today with a conversation with Christina Igaraividez storyteller, actor, writer and content creator. Whether it’s an ensemble production or a digital short, she is constantly working on how to get people to laugh (and sometimes cry). She is also the co-creator for the digital Latina comedy channel Latinaish TV. Christina is also ensemble member of Teatro Luna (the country’s first Pan-Latina theater company) and with Teatro Luna West (LA chapter) where she produces and hosts a monthly storytelling show, that exclusively features women of color, called Talking While Female: Storytelling Sessions, located at Studio Luna in Boyle Heights. You can catch Brenda telling a story this week on February 28, 2019. For tickets to the show, click here.

Tamarindo podcast is a Latina-hosted podcast that discuses Latine culture, politics, and personal-development. It is hosted by Brenda Gonzalez and Delsy Sandoval who are both based in Los Angeles. At the intersection of advocacy and self-care, we discuss culture from a progressive Latina lens including political issues, mental health and well-being, and personal development. Our guests are changemakers advancing justice, culture-makers breaking barriers, or healers including therapists and health practitioners promoting the wellbeing of Latinos.
