On today's episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) bring you wall-to-wall takes on everything that went down Week 9 of the NFL. The word of the day on Sunday was: "Parity". There were 6 games decided by 3 points or less, and neither of the day's biggest betting favorites - the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills - covered the spread. Speaking of the Bills, Josh Allen and the vaunted Buffalo offense was slowed by the stingy New York Jets defense in Gang Green's upset victory. Much like the Minnesota Vikings, we still don't know for sure whether or not the Jets are actually a good team, but they absolutely have a formula that works. In many ways, this current Jets squad is eerily similar to the Mark Sanchez-led crew that made back-to-back AFC Championship games. On the flip side, we absolutely know by now that the Las Vegas Raiders are arguably the biggest disappointments in the NFL this season. Davante Adams and the boys blew another 17-point lead in their latest debacle, and now we'd say it's fair to wonder whether head coach Josh McDaniels will still have a job after the season (and whether Adams' buddy Derek Carr will still be the starting quarterback). Moving over to the NFC, it's becoming increasingly hard to tell which preseason Super Bowl contender has been the uglier watch in 2022: the Los Angeles Rams or the Green Bay Packers. While Green Bay does have a bit of a built-in excuse given that they lost Adams in the offseason, the defending Super Bowl champions being this inept offensively is absolutely stunning. I guess there's a reason why we hardly ever see repeat champions in the NFL. Finally, J-Mac closes the show with a very half-hearted Baltimore Ravens vs New Orleans Saints Monday Night Football edition of the Best Bet.
