Strange Things with Chris James

In 1989, a plane landed in Brazil filled with the skeletons of the passengers and crew who left Germany in 1954. In 1942, a P-40 Warhawk crashed in Hawaii. No body was found and there was no record of any such plane flying out of the islands. In 1944, a B-17 Bomber landed without any pilots or crew. Witnesses said the plane looked as if it could have flown to England. The crew had jumped when the bomber had been disabled and was about to crash. During the early stages of the European Invasion a mystery plane was attacking both sides of the conflict as well as civilians. Here are a few stories to make flight not so inviting for your next trip. 

During World War II Russia invaded Finland. They outnumbered the defenders yet were brought to a standstill. The Finnish army was highly motivated, and they had the home advantage. They also had Simo Hayah. Simo was a snipper who was able to spread fear amongst the Soviet soldiers. In one day, Simo took down 40 enemy. In 100 days of fighting, Simo took out between 500 and 800 soldiers. Here is his story followed by the tale of a bomber crewman, who was shot down 3 times. 

Will the government ever come clean and tell us all they know about UFOs, and Alien Abductions? To do so they would have to admit to all their lies since 1947. They would have to fess up to threatening people's lives and ruining careers. Here are some compelling reasons I doubt the folks in Washington will ever tell us the truth. 

There are stories, dating back over a thousand years, telling about beings from outer space, that feed on humans. Some call them Mind Parasites, others call them The Obscuros. Psychic Vampires that feed on human emotions. Creatures that cause us fear and uncertainty so they can fill their bellies with energy. Here are some unsettling stories about these otherworldly parasites. 

Why do we change the time twice a year? Whose idea was it to try making the day longer? Does it even do any good? Doctors are saying changing time twice a year is actually bad for us. Studies have shown more energy is used instead of less. Here is the long and short on our twice yearly ritual in the name of doing nothing. 

What are those white lines forming in the sky that linger all day? Some folks claim they're just condensation from air traffic. Could there be some devious plot to control our minds, or to lower the Earth's population? Many think the government is trying to control the weather. Here is what I could find out. 

People living in and around Sumatra have reported seeing a short, hair covered creature, that walks on two legs like a man. Some say this is an unknown species of ape. Others, those who have seen it, say the creature is more human than animal. Here are a few witness reports, and theories, about what the Orangpendek might be.  

Have you ever heard of the Vegetable Lamb? A plant that grew tiny sheep. It sounds like something made up, yet people went searching for this cross between plant and animal and there are stories of plants being shipped to London, studied by scientists, who couldn't identify what kind of specimen they were looking at. In North-East Africa, they tell about the Man Eating Lotus of Nubia. A tree that sustains itself by consuming flesh. South America and Mexico are home to the Planta Vampira, a blood drinking vine that can attack unwary travelers. Listen up to find out about some more things to worry about as you go through life. 

This is an unbelievable story about one guy, who had the unique ability to make dozens of really bad decisions. Things like riding a motorcycle in a thunderstorm, or, how about leaving a big dog, home alone, with fifty pounds of dog food. The food was gone in a day and the dog redecorated the house for the next two weeks. Maybe using a government credit card to pay your bills wouldn't dawn on most of us. He thought it was okay. Had I not been there, I would not have believed so many bad ideas could come from one mind. His real name was not Dick, or Rick, or Richard. He was a dick though. 

Here are a few more stories of the things I saw and did while trying to protect our borders. Things that made life interesting if not downright ridiculous. Things like arresting sixteen men while working alone in the middle of nowhere. Falling off my bike and then getting hit by it. How about trying to find a huge monster that was scaring a few gate guards. All in a day's work back when the Border Patrol was fun and allowed to do their jobs.
