Knife crime is spiralling out of control and StreetMic went onto the streets of London to investigate this escalating wave of senseless stabbings and murders.

In doing so, we found a Hero who was stabbed and died twice in hospital. The hero was resuscitated by amazing hospital staff, and lived to tell his story.

The guest in this podcast was stabbed fourteen months ago. He will relive the events from what he remembered about the attack, his life slipping away on a hospital bed, his recovery, his return to near normality and his faith.

He will also be making a number of recommendations directly to the Mayor of London to reduce the likelihood of more victims being attacked with a knife.

'Lisa' was a high-flyer who had been employed by a global conglomerate for many years. She describes her cultural heritage as BAME. She was surrounded by all the trappings of success including a company car & credit card. She had many other perks to match her position within the company. She met her husband at work and they have a young daughter.

Lisa's career came to an abrupt end after she was sacked for gross misconduct following an alcohol-fulled incident with two white girls at a company event. 

Her life has taken a three hundred and sixty degree turn now all the trappings of career success has gone. She now acknowledges that being a high-flying career woman meant she neglected her mummy and wife duties. She now enjoys many new activities including doing the school run for the first time, attending school events during the day, and cooking fresh food each day for her happy family. Her husband rushes home from work to see his wife.

This episode of StreetMic brings Lisa's emotional story to a Podcast. She hopes that others can gain strength from her journey. This story will eventually be published on YouTube on StreetMic Documentary, which is our sister platform.

StreetMic had an engaging conversation on a mobile telephone with Pastor David Miles, a religious man, about a video on YouTube that showed a man in a coffin being allegedly resurrected from the dead. The video is entitled 'Pastor Alph Lukau resurrects a man.'

Pastor Miles believes in the dead being resurrected and he asked StreetMic to watch the video on YouTube to facilitate the engaging discussion. StreetMic believes the resurrection had been faked

The discussion in this Podcast took place at the end of a much longer conversation, where Pastor Miles detailed his career within the church and his plans to travel to Pakistan in a few weeks time to heal sick people. The full-podcast will be made available at a later date.

StreetMic went onto the streets of China Town in central London to have an engaging conversation with people who were visiting the location with their family or friends to eat delicious Chinese food.

StreetMic interviewed many interesting people from around the world who were willing to talk about China Town.

StreetMic was on the streets of London in front of the gates of Number 10 Downing Street, when thousands of protestors arrived in Whitehall to demonstrate against Boris Johnson proroguing Parliament.

StreetMic engaged in conversation with many demonstrators and this podcast gives you a feel of what it was like to be part of the protest. Many speeches were made by high-ranking politicians, including Dianne Abbot, and John McDonnell and StreetMic interviewed many ordinary people to get their take on why they felt it was necessary to be at this pop-up protest in front of Downing Street.

StreetMic was on the streets in London making a video for upload onto StreetCam Documentary YouTube channel, when a feisty young lady interrupted the recording to enquire what StreetMic was doing; the lady was accompanied by a female friend who was in the background throughout the interaction. She was laughing and encouraging her friend.

The brazen interruption meant the young lady became an automatic guest for this Podcast. The conversation started as a general chat about her day, and the conversation then became an engaging chat about 'flutters' and sex. 

The lady looked into the camera and admitted that a few of her previous partners needed go back to school to study GCSE biology to learn about where parts on a woman's body were located.

Some of her answers to StreetMic's questions about sex were very explicit and shockingly-truthful. Potential listeners to this Podcast are strongly advised to switch off if you will be offended by any explicit sexual references.
