Welcome to Episode 14. Lowkey, that was both our ball numbers so mans were a likkkkle nervy comin' into the pod, had to do 2.. no 3 takes *face palm*
This week the cuzzos played an intense game of Mad Gab, where Cruz really showed her code breakin skills, shoutout National Superheroes day for all them Front Liners! We love y'all! We also wondered what things that have existed could only exist in the time period in which they existed.. deep. Also, why were companies tryna give kids choking hazards-only toys? We had a great discussion on high functioning anxiety and how Kyrie Irving is misunderstood as well as being a great leader in the NBA. Lastly we reminisced on our favourite basketball memory, how important organization is to us and did a mini draft, a TOP 2 of our favourite Shia LaBoeuf roles. Gang gang.

  • William, Woodpeckers & Wellington | Strong Ties Podcast
It's 4/20 so you know the cuzzos had to get yer timeline tumpin'. We addressed the terrible shooting and murder of Daunte Wright and quickly touch on an incident from last summer in OUR own backyard.  In spite of the negative world we live in, we felt an episode would help you disconnect from all that negativity and TAP IN.
This week we spoke about woodpeckers and their dirty little secret, Alice & Wonderland's use of Um, our sleep schedules as a character, foods that sound like royalty, who our FBI agents would be and we draft our Top 5 TV/Movie Characters we'd want to blaze with! Enjoy mf's.

  • 12.5 Toxic Media + The Inability To See The Real World *AUDIO EXCLUSIVE* | Strong Ties Podcast
Welcome to the **FIRST AUDIO EXCLUSIVE** in the Strong Ties Podcast era, aka episode 12.5 mf's!
We address some topics that needed to be aired out, AS USUAL. Not being able to see life for what it really is when you wake up because of.. what else? Glasses. Lame. What songs make you cry? What songs strike that chord for you? How about choosing those songs on purpose? That's exactly what we did. We spoke about shit that only happens on vacation or travelling abroad, because some weird shit do be happenin' on them trips.
We touched on toxic media and navigating through it, whether it's social media or news media. It's hard to navigate through it, that's for sure, especially with it being such a big part of society's everyday life, but we touch on how we do just that.
We brought back the fuckin' draft and boyyyyy is it a good one, enjoy that shit. Lastly, not to script, we drop the NFT talk mf. That shit was nice. This episode was nice. Enjoy the first audio exclusive!! EPISODE 12.5 IN THE BOOKS. BY SITUATION, NOT BY CIRCUMCISION.

  • Shoutout Shad Moss + Mental iLLness Bruv | Strong Ties Podcast
*Filmed March 11/21 - so this week's tragic news regarding the mass shooting impacting the Asian community was not addressed in this episode. So, please keep that in mind as we gather our thoughts regarding that*

    First off, FUCK 12.

Shout out Shad Moss. For some reason, Ron had a love for Lil Bow Wow so deep the kid made a biography of him LMAO, what a goof. Shout out SHAD tho, this was before Drake even linked up with the boy and shouted him out. We woke mayne.

The cousins did the old barter and spoke on some recent events that have taken place, like Meyers Leonard just absolutely being a dummy, some MCU deep dives 'cause who HASN'T watched WandaVision.. like for real, don't sleep on that.

Cruz also answered the question "Why is mental health stigmatized in the first place?", which is something Ron KNEW about but never quite understood. We learnin' folks, let's learn.
