Do you find yourself letting numbers determine your success? Likes? Follows? Comments? Grades? Status? It's part of being in this time period, and it seems like it's getting harder and harder to quiet the judgement from others. We chat about ways to stop letting others determine your self worth for you, and taking your power back into your own hands!
This episode is for everyone who's ever said, "I'M A FAILURE." We talk about three main areas of our lives where it can be easy to be hard on ourselves, and some possible ways to reframe success.
We're talking about what's *really* going on when we feel angry. Experiencing anger is normal -- we are human -- but it doesn't have to be our norm. Beneath the rage are always other emotions, emotions that can give us useful information and help us understand ourselves and others more deeply. This conversation is all about getting curious and handling our anger in a productive way. We mention Emily Terrani, who gives tons of valuable content on emotions and being peacefully productive. Just a reminder that we are not licensed mental health professionals; if you feel like you could use some more support working through these heavy emotions, we highly recommend speaking to a licensed therapist.
If you’re a human, you’re going to have moments of being unwell. It’s actually part of our wellness journeys! In this episode, Leslie shares about a current health hiccup she's navigating and shares her favorite ways to surrender. — Charlotte + Leslie are best friends, yoga teachers, and community leaders here to remind you that you are not alone, wellness isn't always easy, and it's even harder without community. This week we're talking about the importance of choosing sadness. Grief is messy -- whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one, the dissolution of a friendship, or the end of an era, experiencing "negative" emotion is inevitable. This conversation is all about the power behind actively choosing to feel sad. Charlotte talks about her experience planning a wedding without her Mom, and Leslie offers insight from the supportive side of a friend going through a hard time.

This week's episode is inspired by something that P!NK said while receiving an award. It really hit us, and we wanted to talk more deeply about 'being a good friend to yourself.' We get into some ways in which we may not be being a good friend, or a friend at all to ourselves, as well as some actionable steps to do just that.
We mention @breeelenehan on this episode and how she takes herself on solo dates!
