On March 24, 2020, the world of horror lost an icon in Stuart Gordon. Long revered for his subversive and often hilarious films, Gordon is well deserving (and overdue) for an induction into the Psychotronic Hall of Fame.

To kick off our Gordon series, we're going to discuss his first film, RE-ANIMATOR. But we're going back even further than that, discussing his beginnings in the world of theater where he created shocking plays -- including one that got him arrested for obscenity -- and how he used that experience to transition into the world of film.
