Las lentejas son una de mis legumbres favoritas y uno de mis acompañantes favoritos para muchas comidas. Todos los tipos de lentejas y legumbres son un excelente sustituto de la carne. Tienen un alto contenido de proteínas y fibra, lo que los convierte en una excelente opción en lugar de la carne, ya que la carne contiene grasa y se ha relacionado con el riesgo de cáncer y también estaría salvando a muchos animales si optara por cambiar a una dieta basada en plantas. Lentils are one of my favorite legumes and one of my favorite sides for a lot of meals. All types of lentils and legumes are an amazing substitute for meat. They’re high in protein and fiber which makes them a great choice over meat since meat contains fat and has been linked to cancer risk and you would also be saving the lives of so many animals if you chose to switch to a plant based diet. They spend most of their life on sea ice in search of food which makes them excellent swimmers. Unfortunately, their numbers are going down due to the climate crisis. Ghost nets are fishing nets that have broken off from bigger nets. These nets float around the ocean and are almost invisible in dim light. This is a major threat to marine life like whales, sharks, turtles, dolphins, and many other species. Join me as I discuss how these nets are affecting life in the ocean, coral reefs, and give advice on how to stop these nets from being a problem. It’s a slow solution, but one that needs to happen to save the oceans.
