  • 26: Sleepover

This week on Sucktastic, two groups of teenage girls go on a wild adventure! However, it isn't one of those run-of-the-mill summer time romps! No, these girls go on an outrageous scavenger hunt that sees them vandalize a store display window, break into an unsuspecting person's house, steal property, and gain admittance into a club while being underaged! Of course, all these behaviors that could carry some sort of penalty if caught, are for a shallow, insignificant prize!

  • 25: Street Fighter w/Chris Hoehne & Joe Gilbert

On this episode of Sucktastic, Jean-Claude Van Damme leads a group of freedom fighters into the den of an evil dictator! He is joined by another group of valient warriors, all in an effort to rescue a group of hostages! Sounds cool right? Action packed even? Well, maybe we would have gotten more enjoyment out of a movie like that...if it wasn't using a well known property as it's vehicle, and it wasn't butchering the represnetation of well beloved characters! Thus is the fate of a video game movie in the early 90's we suppose...

Great friends of ours, and co-hosts of the From the Point podcast, Chris Hoehne and Joe Gilbert join us to lament about Street Fighter! It's all this week, on Sucktastic Cinema!

  • 24: The Crow: Wicked Prayer

This week on Sucktastic, like the previous films in the series, the Crow of legend is supposed to bequeath it's powers to a poor soul, and help that person get back at those who wronged them. When watching this movie, we seriously believe the Crow made the wrong decision. A pasty faced cry-baby is written to have a beautiful girlfriend, be this dude with attitude, and inherit those badass Crow powers after a run in with some satanists. Sorry movie, in this instance imparticular, we can only suspend our disbelief so much. However, you had us hangin' in there with Dennis Hopper as a pimp.
