Sky sources are telling us that We Ate All the Pies has completed the free transfer signing of Devan, a Manchester United fan who also happens to be the boyfriend of Adam's sister. Our addition to this week's pod is only the latest in what is truly becoming a silly season. After a weekend of madness that included United's lackluster start against Brighton, who can blame us for splurging, right? Devan joins Adam, Caleb, and Jordan as they submitted their own entries for Gameweek 1 overreactions, ponder which teams will be panic buying as the transfer window winds down, and look ahead to some key matchups coming this weekend. Jordan has a great start to Top Shelf Picks, and we all scratch our heads at Brendan Rogers' unique substitution policy for Leicester against Brentford.

It has been a dismal summer, almost as dismal as a pair of Everton center backs. But just like the Toffees, We Ate All the Pies is back for another full season of Premier League action. We've retooled the show to make it more flowy and streamlined...so it only makes sense our first attempt is 2 hours long. BUT, it is packed full of goodness with Adam, Caleb and Jordan discussing: Haaland vs. Darwin, the Forest and Leeds rebuilds, Ten Hag's Ronaldo conundrum, Todd Boehly's Chelsea revolution, the Revenge of Kevin Mbabu, and, of course, their predictions for the upcoming season. Plus the new feature Rant or Rave debuts with Caleb taking aim at FIFA for giving us a summer without a World Cup.

It's been over a week since the 2021-22 Premier League Season left us for good. With a clearer view following the dramatic final day, Adam, Jordan and Caleb get together one last time to provide their verdict of the season. Who was great, who could have done better, what does the summer have in store, and whose predictions turned out to be right on the money. Plus there's plenty of time for fun as we officially say goodbye to our first full season as a podcast. I think I'll miss you most of all, David Moyes.

The end of the season was as dramatic as anticipated, and the boys are here to recap it all. Adam, Jordan, and Caleb marvel at Manchester City's dramatic (again) final day push to seal their second straight title and 4th league trophy in 5 years. There was plenty of 5-D chess going on, with former Liverpool players and the old guard of Man City playing their part. Wolves even went off script for a bit! There's good news for Caleb, maybe even better than Fulham winning the title by scoring 7 goals at home.....maybe.

It's been a year since we started this thing and look what our reign of terror has wrought: Everton, staring into the relegation abyss. We Ate All the Pies is back with Adam, Caleb and Jordan discussing the implications of another Merseyside Derby win for title-chasing Liverpool and a run of good form for Burnley and their very generic looking caretaker manager. The boys also examine what Erik Ten Hag will have when he takes the reigns at Manchester United following their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal. The dramatic North London top-four dance takes another turn, and there's a teeth-clenching result for Chelsea over Adam's beloved Hammers. Caleb looks at the Championship as automatic promotion and playoffs loom with so few matches remaining and so many teams still vying for a place at the big Premier League table next season. 

Between surprise weekend results and midweek action, the whole league seems topsy-turvy right now, and Adam, Jordan and Caleb are here for it.
