We're back from the holiday break, and wouldn't you know it, the three-horse title race that existed before Christmas is now a shambles. But there's plenty to talk about, including Jordan and Caleb's Boxing Day meet up (which included pies) and Romelu Lukaku's ability to calm an angry mob of West Londoners. The guys then ask the burning questions for 2022: Is there even still a Premier League title race? Who will take the coveted 4th place spot? And can Newcastle spend their money fast enough to save this season? Finally, Top Shelf Picks is back with a fun FA Cup 3rd Round twist to kickoff what is sure to be another fantastic year of English football.

Normally scattered across the country, Jordan, Adam and Caleb found a digital pub where they could come together for some holiday fun. First is the inaugural We Ate All the Pies Christmas Pub Quiz (heretofore known as the St. Boddington's Cup). Then we channel Football Santa and hand out some presents for the good people of the football world, and also hand out some coal to those who have been especially naughty. We're lookin at you, FIFA. Then there's some brief match analysis before we cover all that is the festive fixtures, from Boxing Day through to the New Year....COVID pending.

To end this on a positive note, thank you to everyone who has listened so far. We want to make this show bigger and better in the new year. Have a holly, jolly bitchfest! The boys (OK, mostly Adam) let loose on VAR decisions and indecisions, penalties that gave all the big teams a win this weekend, and more COVID running rampant in the Premier League. Jordan has some choice words for a certain Leicester player as Newcastle slump to defeat against the Foxes. But luckily Caleb is here for some joy and an update from the Championship. We all have a good laugh at UEFA's expense, and there's news about the big Christmas Special coming next week....hopefully everyone will be in a better mood by then. 

This week on We Ate All the Pies, Adam is still over the moon about West Ham's last-gasp win against London rivals Chelsea, throwing the title race into disarray for, what is sure to be, not the last time. But it did come at a cost, and Caleb and Jordan join in to discuss the fallout. Ralf Ragnick, aka Der Tinkerer, sends Man United out in a crazy, wild, out-of-nowhere formation called the 4-4-2 but it paid off. Everton stormed back to relevance thanks to Demarai Gray's wonder strike. There were wins for Liverpool and City, Gerrard's Villa roll on, and...howay! What's this, a win for Newcastle? Mint!

While the revolving doors of American college football coaching strike closer to home, Adam, Jordan, and Caleb are here to take a bite out of the league that does drama like no other. This week, Michael Carrick shows everyone how big his are by benching Manchester United's Ronaldo in a fortunate but valuable draw against league leading Chelsea. Liverpool win (again), City win (again), and snow wreaks havoc up and down the country and league. But for one American couple, snow-plow driver Harry Kane came to the rescue. Plus, the midweek fixtures signal the start of festive times, though unfortunately not for winless Newcastle. Mince pies all around!

It's Thanksgiving Week here at We Ate All the Pies, and as the title suggests we do enjoy all things food. So to start the show, Adam, Caleb and Jordan have some fun with Premier League teams as traditional Thanksgiving foods. With full bellies, they then provide some of their best drunk uncle hot takes. Conspiracies galore! Then it's time to get serious as we say goodbye, finally, to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who departed Manchester United after a dreadful display against Watford. The goals were flying in elsewhere for Liverpool, Chelsea, City, and....Newcastle?!?!? Finally, Adam's got a sure-fire way for you to light the fuse at your Thanksgiving family gatherings this week: snuggle on up to some Europa League!

Adam and Caleb are back and sobered up after their stag-do trip to Denver. For the last international break edition of the year, Adam, Caleb and Jordan discuss the best and worst financial takeovers in the Premier League, including some American celebrity involvement (we see you, Wrexham). It's a bit of an abbreviated show this week as Adam and Caleb are about to jet off to a bachelor party (or stag do for our non-American listeners). But before these two blokes get hammered, it was Liverpool's turn as David Moyes' magical mystery tour continues in East London. Now Antonio Conte is in the Tottenham Hotspur torture chamber, I mean, manager's office, and Adam, Caleb and Jordan are all here to talk about it. They take a dive into another exciting Premier League weekend, in which Manchester City imploded, Manchester United exploded with goals, Liverpool fell short and Chelsea kept on steam rolling. Plus the Moyesiah continued to work miracles in East London. Caleb provides an English League Championship update before leaving early and go make democracy, and there's the not-so-small matter of the FA Cup First Round in the weekend preview.
