What happens when God gives you a life full of blessing, but places one boundary you don’t understand?
In this episode, Pastor Jamie and Pastor Tommy walk through Genesis 3 and unpack how the enemy doesn’t usually derail us through loud temptation, but through quiet questions like, “Did God really say?”
They talk about how deception begins with conversation, how God’s boundaries are meant for protection (not restriction), and why we often fixate on the one thing we’re told “no” to instead of the many things God has already said “yes” to.
Using the powerful illustration of a house full of blessing with one locked door, this conversation reveals how doubt, whispers, and misplaced trust can slowly lead us away from God’s presence, while reminding us that even when we pull away, God still comes looking for us.
This episode is honest, relatable, and convicting, covering topics like:
• The two voices we’re constantly listening to
• How small compromises lead to big consequences
• Shame, guilt, and fear, and where they really come from
• Why questioning God’s Word opens the door to believing the lie
If you’ve ever found yourself asking, “How did I get here?”
—this conversation is for you.
📖 Scriptures referenced:
Genesis 3:1–71, Peter 5:8, Titus 1:2, John 8:44

Jesus went out of His way for one woman, and it changed everything.
In this episode, we explore John 4 and the power of reaching the ONE. Jesus crosses cultural barriers, social norms, and personal comfort to meet a Samaritan woman at a well, revealing a deep truth: everyone is thirsty. People are searching for hope, peace, and meaning, often drinking from wells that will never satisfy.
The question is simple but confronting, how far are we willing to go to reach those far from Jesus? Because if we don’t share the gospel, no one else will. We have the living water, and the world is thirsty.
In this episode Pastor Jamie and Pastor Tommy unpack one of the most challenging truths in Scripture: whatever we don’t submit to God will eventually try to master us.
Walking through the story of Israel in Exodus, they reveal how God never intended His people to walk into freedom empty-handed, and yet how quickly blessings can turn into idols when our hearts aren’t aligned. From the gold God gave them in Exodus 12 to the golden calf they built in Exodus 32, this conversation exposes the tension between stewardship and ownership, obedience and excuses, worship and idolatry.
You’ll hear how a stirred heart and a willing spirit transformed an entire nation, from disobedience to overwhelming generosity, so much so that Moses had to tell the people to stop bringing offerings.
Together, Pastor Jamie and Pastor Tommy challenge us to consider:
Why did God put this in my hands?
Am I using it to worship Him, or is it silently becoming my god?
If you’ve ever wrestled with money, obedience, or the temptation to hold tightly to what God gave you, this episode will stir your heart, stretch your faith, and call you back to true surrender.

In today’s episode, we dive deep into one of the most misunderstood and transformative principles in Scripture: Tithing, Obedience, and Living Under an Open Heaven.
Using Psalm 37:23 as our foundation, we explore what it truly means for the steps of a righteous person to be ordered by the Lord, a call to submission, sequence, obedience, and putting God first. When our hearts line up with God’s order, everything else begins to fall into place.
Then we walk through Malachi 3, where God issues three powerful truths:
1️⃣ THE CHALLENGE – Return to God and bring the full tithe into the storehouse (the local church).
2️⃣ THE TEST – “Try Me now in this…” God invites us to put Him to the test—a test that takes us to another level.
3️⃣ THE BLESSING – An open Heaven, overflowing provision, and divine protection as God rebukes the devourer on our behalf.
This episode uncovers how tithing isn’t about money, it’s about relationship, covenant, and trust.
✔ Tithing existed before the Law
✔ Jesus affirmed it, correcting priorities—not canceling it
✔ Under grace, our giving becomes generous, voluntary, and worshipful
✔ And through Christ—our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek—our giving becomes relational, not routine
We also wrestle with the tension Malachi presents: “What if God is a liar?” because He attaches a guarantee to giving. He promises open Heavens, multiplied blessings, and nations recognizing His favor on your life.
If you’ve ever wondered:
💬 “Is tithing still for today?”
💬 “Why does God ask for the first 10%?”
💬 “How do I live under an open Heaven instead of a closed one?”
- this episode brings clarity, challenge, and encouragement.
👣 Our part is to PROVE. God’s part is to POUR.
Let’s step into alignment, obedience, and blessing—together.

Pastor Jamie Grisham and Pastor Tommy Hodges unpack three issues that shape every believer’s walk with God: the first problem, the heart problem, and the obedience problem. Using Isaiah 1:19 as a foundation, they reveal a transformational equation: Willingness + Obedience = Access. God isn’t chasing our money, He’s pursuing our obedient hearts.
Together, they walk through the story of the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17–22) to expose how possessions can quietly become idols when they’re not surrendered to God. You’ll hear how possessions without surrender lead to bondage, but possessions with surrender lead to freedom. Jesus doesn’t call us to partial commitment, He calls us to radical discipleship.
Pastors Jamie and Tommy explore why delayed obedience is still disobedience, and how God responds to the faith we activate through our seed. From the spiritual laws of sowing and reaping (Galatians 6:7; 2 Corinthians 9:6–10) to the “Apple Seed” illustration, they challenge us to stop clenching what God has asked us to release. A seed in your hand can’t become a harvest until it leaves your hand.
You’ll be encouraged, confronted, and stirred as they discuss why obedience in one area doesn’t cancel disobedience in another, especially when it comes to our resources. And you’ll hear the biblical promise that when we honor God with our first fruits (Proverbs 3:9–10), He responds with overflow.
If you’re ready for your faith to grow, your perspective to shift, and your heart to awaken, this episode will meet you exactly where you are.
Key Themes:
• God wants our obedience more than our offering
• How heart posture shapes obedience• Seed faith and the supernatural release of surrender
• The dangers of delayed obedience• Honoring God with first fruits.
• Living in overflow instead of limitation
A question from Pastors Jamie & Tommy:
What’s in your hand, and does God have access to it?

What if the real issue isn’t money at all, but the heart behind it?
The Heart of Stewardship is a podcast that dives deep into what Jesus actually taught about ownership, trust, generosity, and the inner motives that shape our lives. Using timeless biblical truths from passages like Matthew 25, Luke 16, Mark 12, and more, each episode unpacks a simple but transformative reality:
God owns. We steward.
And how we steward reveals who we truly serve.
In this podcast, we explore:
• The First Problem:
Why stewardship is about far more than finances—and why focusing on money alone means missing the point. We look at Jesus’ parables to understand what “Well done, good and faithful servant” actually requires, and why neglect, not just wrongdoing., can cost us the most.
• The Heart Problem:
You can’t serve both God and mammon. We confront how money deceives, how greed quietly pulls us from our faith, and why God weighs not the amount we give, but the heart behind it. Through Scripture and honest conversation, we ask: Where is my trust? Where is my treasure?
• The “How” Matters More Than the “How Much”:
Jesus watched how people gave, not what they gave. From the widow’s offering to Paul’s call for cheerful giving, we discover how generosity shapes our hearts, kills greed, and leads us into deeper trust and joy.
If you want a podcast that challenges, encourages, and transforms the way you see God, money, and yourself, this space is for you. Each episode invites you to move from ownership to stewardship, from self-trust to God-trust, and from giving out of abundance to giving from the heart.
Stewardship brings joy.
Generosity brings freedom.
And trust brings you closer to God.
Welcome to The Heart of Stewardship, where we learn to approach God not just with our hands, but with our whole hearts.

DON’T COME DOWN — STAY ON MISSION!
Pastor Jamie and Pastor Tommy take us deep into Romans 16 and Nehemiah to uncover one of the enemy’s oldest and most dangerous tactics: division.
The devil’s #1 goal isn’t always to destroy you, sometimes it’s simply to distract you.
He wants to pull you off your mission, steal your focus, and divide the body of Christ.
Key Scriptures:
Romans 16:17–18 | Nehemiah 2:10 | Nehemiah 4:1–3 | Nehemiah 6:2–3 | Romans 8:31
How division distracts, discourages, and diverts your mission
Why opposition often means you’re doing something right
What Nehemiah teaches us about handling critics and distractions
How to recognize when someone is part of your history, not your destiny
Division doesn’t just destroy relationships, it destroys momentum.
Stay focused, stay united, and keep building.
Because if God is for us, who can be against us?
Listen now and be encouraged to guard your heart, protect your unity, and keep your eyes fixed on the mission God has called you to.

In this week’s episode, we dive into Romans 15:14–21, where Paul gives us a powerful picture of what spiritual maturity really looks like.
He reminds us that God fills before He sends, that the goodness, knowledge, and power we need to make a difference are already within us through His Spirit.
Paul’s life shows us what it means to be called by grace, empowered by the Spirit, and driven by mission. It’s not about what we can do for God, but what God can do through us. From being filled with goodness to being sent with purpose, this passage challenges us to live beyond comfort and walk boldly in our calling.
You’ll walk away inspired to say, “Here am I, send me.”

In this episode, we dive into Romans 14 and explore what it looks like to live in unity without uniformity. Paul writes to a diverse church in Rome, Jewish and Gentile believers with different histories, habits, and convictions, and calls them to love that adjusts the menu, not divides the table.
We’ll talk about how differences aren’t defects, they’re part of God’s design. From personal convictions about food, music, social media, or traditions, to how we treat one another in the body of Christ, we’ll uncover how grace guards against division and love chooses people over preferences.
Learn how to stop judging, start edifying, and embrace the beauty of a church (and world) full of complementary strengths and weaknesses. Unity isn’t sameness, it’s shared surrender to Jesus.
Join us as we discover how letting love lead can heal divisions, strengthen the body, and open the door for revival.

Wake Up. Suit Up. Step Up.
Romans 13 is a call to urgency. Pastor Jamie and Pastor Tommy unpack Sundays Sermon. Paul doesn’t just teach doctrine, he moves us into practice, showing us what it means to live as a transformed people in the middle of the times we’re facing right now. In this message, we look closely at Paul’s charge to wake up, cast off darkness, and put on Christ.
The season we’re in is not accidental. Paul uses the word kairos, not just clock time, but a decisive, God-appointed moment. Scripture warns us that spiritual sleep, apathy, and complacency are dangerous. Just like David standing before Goliath, the enemy may be screaming loudly, but the hour has come for the people of God to rise and take their place.
Romans 13:11 reminds us: “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” This is not the time to drift or be distracted, it’s time to be alert, aware, and ready.
Paul tells us what to do next:
Wake Up, recognize the urgency of the hour and shake off spiritual lethargy.
Suit Up, cast off the works of darkness, strip away the habits that thrive in secrecy, and clothe yourself with the armor of light. Visibility matters; we are called to live openly and transparently as sons and daughters of the day.
The night is almost over, the day is at hand, and we don’t have the luxury of sleep. God is calling His people to rise up, take their stand, and walk into the valley clothed in Christ.
The question is, will we stay on the hillside frozen in fear, or will we step into the moment God has given us.
It’s time to wake up, suit up, and step up. Not tomorrow. Now.
