We have debated venturing back into the world of true crime, but wanted to make sure what we were covering was meaningful, informative and frankly a crime for us not to know. This week we're talking about Sundown towns. If you've never heard of these, you're not alone. Sundown towns are a part of the white-washed, buried, dark history that America actively tries to pretend didn't happen, and in some places may still be happening. It is imperative to know our history, lest we be doomed to repeat it. Along with learning about Sundown Towns, we discuss the murder of Carol Jenkins and why it took 30 years for her killer to be caught.
