This week, it's all about them artifact facts! The mysterious relics in question have some pretty far out stories behind them, and the boys are determined to dig in deep.
First up, Jake tells the tale of a crystal cranium thought to be sacred to the Mayans, or maybe not. Part of a supposed set of thirteen skulls scattered across the globe, could this polished piece of quartz be the key to immense cosmic power? What does 19th century Germany have to say on the matter?
Wyatt then details the curious Voynich manuscript, a dense and illustrated scientific textbook or possibly an early version of Playboy that, either way, has baffled linguists and cryptographers for ages. Practice your Jerry Lewis impression and keep the jungle cats out of your study as you listen to this week's Superduperstitious!

Has it really been a whole year? No? Well the boys have an anniversary of sorts to celebrate nonetheless, and they do it with a return to some spooky favorites! Wyatt takes us down Sasquatch Lane with some convincing accounts of Florida's Myakka skunk ape. Now you, too, can learn it's snappy catchphrase!
Jake then finally cuts to the chase with all his weeks of ghoul talk by covering the actual ghoul of Arabian folkore. Ultimately, cultures around the world just aren't super into eating people, okay guys? Stay out of the swamp! Stay out of the desert! Stay out of your backyard! Maybe just stay inside and listen to this week's Superduperstitious!

The legends are true! Specifically the ones about there being a new episode of Superduperstitious. After checking in again on the British Invasion (the Spring Heeled Jack one, that is), the boys examine some longstanding, almost elemental legends from different parts of the world.
First, Jake describes the mysterious Dark Watchers who lurk on ridges in Big Sur, being dark, and watching stuff. No clue what they are, but at this point, there's no ruling out even urRu as a possibility. Then Wyatt takes a plunge into the history and biology of a well known but never-not-awesome sea monster. THE sea monster, really. Plus a squid in an ice cream cone! It's all there, along with some Steinbecks and a rousing game of Shadowlands Roulette, all on this week's Superduperstitious!

Well if it isn't another new episode! This week, Wyatt jumps on that opening-update-segment-train with some ghastly tales of Spring Heeled Jack's move to America, where he gets into some very specific routines. Wyatt then segues into a series of sightings involving a weird little monstermajig that is equally at home in the Massachusetts and Ontario suburbs as it is in Native American mythology. Just keep your cats away from the river.
Jake's then proves that he hasn't told his dumbest story yet, because he hasn't told THIS story yet. Specifically, he talks about some giant stick figures that are apparently just walking around in the world. All that, plus a series of children's videos that could only be part of a dadaist art project — all on this week's Superduperstitious!

Phantoms abound in this fright-filled episode! After a correction to last week's story that makes it somehow even more upsetting to the boys, Jake discusses a bandage-covered spook that haunts a lonely Oregon road. Whether it's attacking cars while young couples are tryna smash, or crabwalking in and out of your kitchen at night, you're gonna have a bad time.
Wyatt then takes us on an enlightening trip to Victorian London to learn all about a plague of encounters with a fiendish high jumper. Who's that devilish, ghostly bear who scratches and takes off into the air? (Jack!) You're damned right. This episode has spooks, but don't worry — it's all over in approximately 243 Lord's Prayers. Hop onto a brand new Superduperstitious!

It's another week, and the boys' fascination with the not-quite-human never ceases! First up, Wyatt describes the legend of a monster terrorizing Maryland, the sounds that a man-goat might make, and the angst inherent in being a human. He also expresses his deep passion for classic science fiction and fantasy.
Next, Jake gets back on his shit again, recounting even more encounters with gaunt, pale humanoids stalking the roads of the American northeast, including a child's drawing that REALLY doesn't help make these things less creepy. All this, plus some more Chicago Phantom shenanigans, and a brief appearance from a very special musical guest, on this week's Superduperstitious!

The conclusion of this New Age deep dive finds our intrepid dorks ready to revisit last week's topics, but this time with a heaping helping of science to accompany each and every bite of that crunchy granola. From real-life crystal properties, to the less than lofty origins of ley lines, prepare to get a good old fashioned science learnin'.
And you won't leave empty-handed either, because these prog-fessional podcasters also found the best deal for life energy generators on the market! Strap in for some earth science, some balls-to-the-wall physics, and some extremely convoluted memory hacks while you get the orgone placebo-ed out of you in Part II of this Superduperstitious Special Report!

As we start another two-part Superduperstitious Special Report, we ask you to open your mind to the oneness of all, to let the natural energy surround you, and also to listen to two punkass scientists try describing New Age beliefs verbatim without losing their damned minds. Jake's up first, with some rock talk — specifically, the curious case of Death Valley's sailing stones in its famed Racetrack Playa. He then segues into crystal energy, and the two subjects almost make sense together when heard in context, seriously.
Wyatt follows Jake's energy lead to describe ley lines, and then goes cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs with an account by someone who has lived on one such line for a number of years. Don't worry — there are photos. As we begin our descent into this two parter, we ask that you keep your tray tables up and your feet firmly planted on the albatross. Get ready for some curious natural phenomena on this week's Superduperstitious!

There once was a dorky podcast that discussed paranormal phenomena from a scientific perspective. The two hosts never really nailed that logline, but they always at least half tried. One night, they decided to discuss urban legends again, since there are, like, a billion of those.
First, after another bat interruption, Wyatt laid down some short tales from Japan, before launching into the story of the infamous Alice Killings. "Why," he asked, "are you being so serious?" Next, Jake spun a yarn about one of the most famous campfire ghost stories out there. But then it turns out it basically came true and a bunch of people died and it was really dark and depressing.
Legend has it that these two podcast hosts are still out there to this day, waiting for unsuspecting listeners to wander over to their show on a night/day just like tonight/today. Not everyone encounters this fabled duo, but if you're feeling brave, hit play right now! However, be warned: you, too, might just become another listener to Superduperstitious! *Thunder noises*

What the folk? It's a new episode! And it's goofy as all get-out. This week, the boys are examining legends and folktales that seemingly are true even today. Off the top, Jake covers the demonic hellhounds seen across the English countryside and beyond, sometimes appearing as an omen of doom, sometimes arriving just to totally MESS. A. CHURCH. UP. As you value your life or your reason, keep away from the moor.
From there, Wyatt talks about a whole class of mythical humanoids, including goblins, gremlins, pukwudgies, gnomes, and bodybuilders. He even brings not one, not five, but FOUR pieces of potential video evidence to the table! Beware of soccer games in Argentina. Aw Shuck, it's time for some more Superduperstitious!
