This episode takes place at a convention and there are some suggestions we’d like to see at the existing Supernatural convention circuits! There’s also some talk about the portrayal of fans in this episode and a deep desire for a Ghostfacers reference and everyone picks who they would cosplay as at this style of Supernatural convention.
CW Episode Description: Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck's (guest star Rob Benedict) phone to trick Sam and Dean into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean. One of the activities is a live action role playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene.

CW Episode Description: The Trickster (guest star Richard Speight Jr.) throws Sam and Dean into an alternate universe where they are characters in different television series, including a sexy medical show, a Japanese game show, a forensics show and a sitcom. The brothers realize the only way to get out of this world is to play along and become the characters in the shows. However, Castiel appears and warns them this universe is dangerous and they must get out before they become trapped.

As Bobby begins to age rapidly, Dean steps in to save him but also ends up turning into an old man, leaving Sam holding the bag for their survival.

Joining KJ and Meredith this week are two first time guests Alyssa and Meg. This week’s episode leads to the most complicated and potentially controversial death count segment to date, thanks to alternate realities, demonic viruses, and the humanization of an angel. Meredith gives us the 4-1-1 on Lucifer in the mythology segment, while KJ alternates between gratitude for Sam’s socks and a plea for ethical non-monogamy in the event of post-apocalyptic life. 
CW Episode Description: Sam tells Dean he wants to rejoin Dean in the battle of the Apocalypse, but Dean tells Sam that they are better off apart. Later, Dean awakens five years in the future in an abandoned city and is attacked by humans who have been infected with a demonic virus that turns humans into Zombies. Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) appears to Dean and explains that this is the world that exists as a result of Dean saying no to helping the angels fight Lucifer. Dean meets up with Future Dean, who tells him that the virus is the Devil's endgame for destroying mankind. Misha Collins also stars.

Dean, intent on stopping the Apocalypse, continues hunting on his own and teams up with Castiel to find the Archangel Raphael, as Castiel believes Raphael knows God's location.
