Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing a huge Supreme Court decision that reverses affirmative action in college admissions, finding that Harvard and other prestigious Universities have discriminated against Asian American and white students by using race in their admissions policies. Dom celebrates this decision, explaining why he was so against the continued trend of Asian-American students being labeled as ‘white adjacent’ while being discriminated against in the college admissions process.
Then, Dom welcomes in Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a huge bust he announced this week involving thieves in Philadelphia. DA Weintraub found that a Port Richmond, Philadelphia garage was the apparent leader in a catalytic converter theft ring that had many Philadelphians and suburbanites waking up to a missing part of their car, including Producer Dan. Weintraub takes us inside the investigation, stressing why he found catalytic converter thefts important enough to pursue, explaining that this was a joint effort between multiple local departments to bring down this ring.
