With endless commentary on the dangers of college, university and against bettering yourself, they have kept millions from reaching their true potential … and under their control. We take a look back at how generations of JW's missed out on opportunities and how it continues to effect them.

What shocks YOU the most about Jehovah’s Witnesses? I’m often asked that question. The answer probably differs for everyone, but let’s take a look at how millions of people devote themselves to a cult without ever knowing it’s history, reading the Bible or being able to explain their ‘life or death’ beliefs. How are innocent people held captive to a life of ignorance about their own ‘religion?’ Why do they choose to bury their heads in the sand on ‘generations,’ blood, birthdays and more? Why are most JW’s so uneducated, despite being baptized for decades?  

We take a look at how the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses has molded millions of people into followers with a steady dose of fear and complacency that goes back over a century…and keeps millions of publishers coming to your door, unable to answer basic questions about their faith. Don’t worry… you won’t hear “I’ll need to research that and come back with an answer”… no ‘return visits here!

Grab a snack? Only to send them right back to vulnerable mankind on earth to do it all over again. From a young age, adults and children alike are fed a steady diet of fear. Witnesses have been taught that everything from Smurfs, to music, toys, movies, album covers and that pair of socks you got at the garage sale, are potentially dangerous items highjacked by demons that want to come to your house. Jehovah's Witnesses are the definition of hypocrisy. As a teenager, I came up with the term "JW Ala Carte" when watching 'god's organization' pick and choose what Bible teachings they applied and which ones they ignored. Consider two: Why are Jehovah's Witnesses, including elders and circuit overseers, allowed to be so overweight when the Bible condemns gluttony? How can you punish a kid for celebrating a pagan birthday while mom wears a pagan wedding ring? ... and other observations!

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Bible promises them eternal life on a paradise earth. It is their core teaching and what they use to attract people to the religion. They've devoted billions of pages of literature to illustrations showing paradise, wild animals as pets and the perfect fruit basket. But there is a problem: Jesus missed the memo and left it out of the Bible, his teachings...or even a mention. A hope that impacts billions in human history... nary a mention? No worries, he told his buddies in New York in 1932! Let's take a look at lie that traps millions of innocent people...

Despite women making up most of the of the nearly 9 million members of Jehovah's Witnesses (including doing the bulk of the door to door preaching work) the self proclaimed 'mouthpiece of God on earth,' the Governing Body, continue to foster an often dangerous culture where women are disrespected and minimized.
