SVU POD: Especially Heinous

Hoemgee, you guys! We were LIVING for this episode of SVU. The twists had us spinning and the chaser is it's direct influence. Cons, grifters, lanky hotdog pounding, southern accents, Bobby F'n Netflix! We've got it all. Recap 2:15 True Crime Chaser 57:46 *TW: rape, assault*

Gabe and Tasha virtually hold each other and in unison scream like chicken hawks while we cover this episode involving marital sexual assault and cops protecting cops. Recap 1:10 True Crime Chaser 46:35 **TW: rape, abuse** Sorry AGAIN for the chaser sound! We're exhaustingly aware of it and our buddy Greg at Madison Pro Audio is getting it straightened out.

Let's talk about mental illness, babay! The detectives swap likability roles so it's your time to shine, Munch. This episode is full of, as usual, tough themes but we try our best to pepper in terrible accents and worse jokes. Also, that weird sound thing happened on Tasha's end with the chaser again. Idk. Sorry if you hate it. Recap :48 Chaser 46:24 *TW: Rape, Mental Illness, Graphic Descriptions*

Bear with us as we work our way through the dark recesses of kids and gun violence. If the episode wasn't bad enough, we're gonna chase it with the Columbine Massacre perpetrated by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. You may notice that this episode of SVU POD runs a little long. Tasha and Gabe kind of trail off at the end into Tasha's infatuation with a brutally terrible Soundcloud rapper, old timey hot dudes, Gabe's terrible double feature choices, us sounding really internet old....and Ted Bundy. Recap :43 True Crime Chaser 41:09 *TW: School shootings, child death*

Does this episode finally make Tasha quit the pod and start a Disney music cover band? No. Does this episode completely reverse Gabe's feelings toward Munch? Also, no. Recap 1:22 True Crime Chaser 50:35 **TW: Child abuse, Munchausen by proxy**

We're not out of line here when we suggest that this may be the best sequel since Terminator II: Judgement Day. The chaser, as usual, is a true story about a sack of trash made of trash. **TW: Rape** Recap 2:29 True Crime Chaser 47:36

Bike cop or horse cop? The Emmy goes to the M.E. In this episode we hopefully maintain a healthy level of respect for others while not compromising our feminist energies. Also, please someone do Rocky trivia with Tasha. Recap 0:53 True Crime Chaser 51:35 Special Thanks to Our buddy ,Saqib, for the Chaser help! **Trigger Warning: Murder/Honor killing**

To quote All Star Queen and Legend, Alyssa Edwards; We are back, back, back, back again! After an eventful break, we're jumping into season 2 with both feet. Episode 1 of season 2 has everything we could want and MORE. SO much early aughts nostalgia, man tanks, Uncle Frank of the Home Alone dynasty, Olivia Benson pulling off her of-the-times pixie like a boss...um, and our first introduction to Odafin "Tutes" Tutuola!! The chaser is awful and rough and sucks and we hate the awful people of the world. Recap 2:28 True Crime Chaser 58:33 **Trigger Warning: child sexual abuse**

We get into Season 2! Starting January 5, 2021! Best pals Gabe Joyner and Tasha Crawford recap episodes of everyone's favorite sexually based offense fictional crime drama, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Following the recap is a True Crime Chaser where Tasha tells a true story that's either similar to or influenced the SVU episode. Can't wait? Binge Season 1 now wherever you get your podcasts! https://www.svupod.com

We mistakenly welcomed Kimbra to tell us these stories and now we can't unhear them. She was actually great but be aware of the trigger warnings. **TW: clowns, kidnapping, torture of a child**
