Oh. My. Goodness!
Hi friend!
Can you even believe it?! It's Sweat & Reflect's SECOND birthday & I am unwell! When I started this podcast 2 years ago it was on a whim & I wasn't entirely sure what I was getting myself into, but look at us now!
& yes, I do mean US, because without YOU we wouldn't be here. Sweat & Reflect started because of YOU & continues to grow because of YOU!
Honestly, there are no words for how truly grateful I am to you for listening, for being here & for supporting Sweat & Reflect. You mean the absolute world to me!
That being said, in honor of Sweat & Reflect's Second Birthday, I'm sharing the 3 lessons/moments of reflection I experienced as I thought about this milestone:
1) it's about YOU
2) there's no right way to do this
3) remain committed to the truth & real time experiences
Press play to hear the full breakdown of each lesson AND to hear how each lesson connects to YOU!
I am SO beyond thankful for you & am blessed to be celebrating this second birthday with you!
As always, thank you for being here friend. xoxo

Lesson 1: the Universe will always challenge you to give in; it's up to you to push forward
Lesson 2: it doesn't matter how long it takes you, the goal is to always cross the finish line
Lesson 3: your mind will always give up before your body
Lesson 4: your support system matters
Lesson 5: trust yourself - you already know what to do
Head over to Instagram @meredith.coviello & let me know which lesson you connected with most!
So grateful for you! xoxo
Hey friend!
Welcome back! Today's episode is all about a question that woke me up from my sleep the other night: why do we spend so much time looking/paying for answers outside of ourselves when we have everything we need?
Maybe it's just me - but I have a strong feeling it's not - but we have a tendency to look OUTSIDE of ourselves for answers & solutions instead of just trusting our gut/intuition & I think enough is enough.
Yes, of course there are some things we need to get help with, right? But for a lot of things, we have the power, capability & guidance within ourselves to get to where we need to go.
Take a listen to today's episode & then take some time to reflect on whether or not you're relying on yourself or if you're constantly seeking outside help/guidance, etc.
I cannot wait to hear what you think!
Talk to you soon. xoxo
Hey friend!
As always, I am SO grateful you're here today.
On today's episode we're chatting about the overwhelming emotions I've been having regarding this "crappy time of year" & how I'm attempting to handle them.
In April of 2020, Tim - my late husband - was in & out of urgent care before we had no choice but to admit him to the hospital.
By May 22, 2020, a month later, Tim was gone.
It's coming up on the 3 year anniversary of his passing & I thought I was "doing fine." After all, I'm in a much better place mentally than I have been the past 3 years, but in therapy last week, I realized I am having so many emotional outbursts because of the season I am in.
Listen to today's episode to see how I'm processing these feelings & what I'm doing to try & navigate this season.
I so appreciate you being here! xoxo
Hey friend!
Happy April! Today's episode is inspired by a conversation I had with my chiropractor.
We were chatting about the fact that we are both dealing with a personal evolution - she's in the middle of one & I'm on the precipice of one, & man is it a lot, mentally, emotionally & physically.
Knowing that she is in the midst of an evolution, I just knew that we - you & me - needed to have a conversation about where we're at.
Are you like me & holding yourself back from an evolution?
Are you in the midst of an evolution?
Or, are you like, "what the fuck are you talking about, Meredith?"
No matter your answer, I really believe today's episode is going to help you jumpstart a conversation with YOU.
You deserve nothing but the best & I know even more growth & greatness is coming your way.
Can't wait to hear what you think! Until next week, xoxo.
Hey friend!
On this week's episode I felt called to give you an update on where I am with getting off of my anxiety medication because I think there is a lesson to be learned from it for all of us.
I also think it's super important to continue to have conversations about mental health, especially in today's climate.
Additionally, we chat about why it's okay to be in a state of transition & why you need to listen to YOURSELF, despite what other people think.
I really hope this episode resonates with you! Let me know what you think over on Insta!
xoxo
Hey friend!
I'm so excited that you're here! On today's episode, we're chatting about a realization I recently had when staring at my 30+ headbands.
I've had these headbands for years, but as I stood in my closet I thought, "why the actual fuck do I have all of these headbands? I wear like 10 of them, maybe."
& then I thought back to where & who I was when I bought the headbands & something clicked. I realized I was in the thick of pretending like everything was good in my life even though I was deeply unhappy in my job & I was hiding Tim's addiction.
I did some major reflecting & realized I was spending money on materialistic things searching for the happiness I was lacking in my day-to-day life.
Listen to today's episode for the full story & to see how this story may help you.
Are YOU spending time, energy &/or money on things that are not truly benefitting you?
If so, why?
Can't wait to hear what you think! xoxo
Hey friend!
Today's episode is focused on something that has been on my heart for awhile, I just wasn't aligned intuitively & physically to speak about it until now.
If you're anything like me, you've gotten lost in the need to compare yourself to others or have been triggered by what they post/say on social media & in real life, & it's taken its toll on you.
What's the best way to respond? Quietly muting, unfollowing &/or setting boundaries between yourself & those triggers.
Yes, this may seem harsh, but you DESERVE to attract positive energy & to FEEL good energy, There's enough negativity out in the world that we can't control so let's control what we can.
Press play to get my full thoughts on this topic & then head over to Instagram to let me know your thoughts!
So glad you're here!
Hi friend!
I'm so grateful that you're here because today we're honoring those who lost their lives to addiction.
This past Monday - March 6 - was Black Balloon Day & I felt it was necessary for me to rearrange my content & make this day the focus of this week's episode.
There is so much to say & so much that goes along with addiction. Everything from the guilt to the sadness to the disbelief takes its toll & leaves us different than we were before.
But here's the thing, I think it's SO important to remember that our loved one were SO MUCH MORE than their addictions.
They were people who loved, who laughed, who brought all sorts of LIFE to our own lives & that is something we cannot forget.
While I know this episode may be hard for some of you to hear, I hope you know that you are not alone in your pain & in your grief.

Hey friend & happy March!
Like what?! March, already?! Whew!
As I was sitting down to record today's episode I was thinking about all that I DIDN'T accomplish in February & I realized:
1) this is not productive thinking
2) I need to reframe my thinking
3) you might be feeling the same way.
And so, today we're chatting about taking a minute (or two or three) to sit, breathe & reflect on everything we DID do this past month even if we didn't check all of the boxes we had set out to check.
Halfway through this conversation I felt better about what I did in February & so I only hope that after listening to today's episode you feel the same way.
I can't wait to hear what you think! xo
