Content Warning // Death and Dying// Near-Death Experience

While dying from lung failure in 1999, Kathy McDaniel was placed on a ventilator and into a drug-induced coma. 𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞, Kathy shares her recollections of her near-death experience in hell, a manifestation of what she believed it would be. It is graphic and a  caution that her recollections for the first 8 minutes can be disturbing.

Kathy says she moved from that very dark place to Heaven's waiting room and tries to find the words to express the love, joy, and bliss she felt. The overwhelming bliss of Heaven she experienced shifted her religious beliefs to deep spirituality. Kathy prays daily to be loving, kind, merciful, forgiving, encouraging, grateful, faithful, and non-judgmental. She can't wait to "go home" again and tells us we have so much to look forward to.

Kathy credits the members of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies) for her eventual integration of the Disturbing NDE, and the ability to accept the sacred mission that caused her reluctant return to Earth.

Kathy is also the author of the memoir, Misfit in Hell to Heaven Expat..
