3 Scots in the top 6 in Japan, doubles event on the PGA Tour, a ladies major and LIV golf shines in OZ. Peter is back from Turkey to help with our weekly golfing nonsence chat.
The week after the Masters is usually low key but with an elevated status, they were all at the RBS (minus Rory!!). Slow play rears its ugly head again with Patrick Cantlay receiving the brunt of the attention and we also look back at the Scottish Boys Open at Lundin Golf Club and the girls at Longniddry.
A look back at a fantastic Masters where Jon Rahm cemented his place as World number 1. Lots of talking points including - Should Brooks have been penalised for giving advice to playing partner Gary Woodland and his caddy?... The rules seem clear that he should have been but is this a commonly broken rule in golf...?
This week we are joined by Scottish Golf royalty in Stephen Gallacher. Stephen joins us to talk about his career, his Ryder Cup experience and his future as well as his thoughts on Augusta, the ball roll-back and junior golf. Loads going on in this episode so make sure and tune-in!!
A look back at a great week in Texas. Is matchplay good TV? Will we see it back? We also revisit the distance debate after our game at Drumoig where long hitting was the story of the day! (sour grapes!!)
We are a week late to this chat but here is our thoughts on the new proposed local rule where tournament organisers of elite golf tournaments will have the power to enforce the use of a shorter ball.
We also talk Fantasty Golf, The Valspar aand more...
We look back at another win for Scotty Scheffler at The Players Championship at Sawgrass. Also, an amazing stat for Mingee Lee and Rory hits the headlines once again.
A look back at the Arnold Palmer Invitational plus we discuss the new PGA Tour proposed schedule and could you handle playing golf with Tyrrell Hatton?
With Andy, Peter, Donald and Stewart and thanks as always to Breadalbane!
Is LIV here to stay or are it's days numbered? Sergio calls out Rory for being immature and we look forward to another elevated event at Bay Hill this week.
We welcome Scott Rose this week to help us talk golf all the way from Abu Dhabi! There is plenty to get through with Rahm regaining number 1 at Riviera, Thomas Pieters leaving for LIV in a big huff and Tiger handing a tampon to JT.
Thanks again to Breadalbane Finance for all the support.
