Talk Golf Scotland

In this special episode we got the chance to speak to a real golfing entrepreneur in Robert Hart.  A Glasgow lad who gave up a very good corporate job to start the golf clothing brand - Bunker Mentality.  We talk about why and how he started the business, how he helped it grow and also where he sees his business and the game of golf in the future.

As always, many thanks to Shotscope Technologies and Golphin - we couldn't do it without you!!

This week we discuss Bryson Dechambeau and his new found yardage.  We talk about the European Tour event in Dubai where Bob MacIntyre recorded a 'rusty' top 10 in his first outing of 2020!  We also cross the pond to Torrey Pines where Tiger, Rory and Rahm were all in contention and also discuss an article written by Martin Dempster in this weeks Scotsman regarding a proposed new 'BIG MONEY' Premier Golf League.

Thanks again to Shotscope Technologies and Golphin For Kids for their continued support.

This is a good one!  In this special, we invite back Charles Dernie - to talk about his time as a referee which has included working at major championships, Ryder Cups, European Tour events and many more.  Charles gives a great insight into what is involved for a referee and has some fantastic stories of top players he has had to deal with!  We also go over one or two rules he sees the amateur golfer often getting wrong.

This week we look at Lee Westwood and his return to the winners circle (for the 25th time!) in Abu Dhabi.  Matt Fitzpatrick is chipping cack handed, Sergio leaves Callaway, and John Smoltz is using a putter that stand up on it's own!!  We give our thoughts and opinions on it all.

In this weeks show we talk about golf course architecture following the death of one of the games legends, Pete Dye.  We also discuss what it might be like to have a father named Tiger Woods and whether that might hinder your chances of reaching your potential in the game. We also discuss what is involved in a good custom club fitting!
