December 08, 2020Finally a Good Day 113020I talk about how I had a good day -- at last! I feel 100%. I feel healthy, happy and hopeful and it feels wonderful. I have missed feeling like myself....more16minPlay
December 07, 2020Thanksgiving was Lovely 113020I talk about how our Thanksgiving ended up being really nice and relaxing. The kids enjoyed getting to know their older cousins Henry and Linda and had fun with Andrea and Kelly. Dinner was great. The AirBnB was a great thing to get. The kids kept saying how much they liked it and we really had a good time together. The walk in the light display on Friday night was the perfect special thing to do and really made the trip memorable and magical....more12minPlay
December 06, 2020Demonizing Thanksgiving 112520I talk about how all the news outlets are blaming the individual person who plans to visit their family this year for killing or infecting everyone else, when the real culprits for the spread of COVID are the inconsistent policies in place from city to city and state to state along with restaurants and bars that are still allowed to be open (some in the same states where people can't legally gather outside!). There's not a lot of rhyme or reason to some of these laws and restrictions that are or aren't in place. Because the messaging is inconsistent, it's easier to blame the individual for the spread of the disease than the Tavern League or private companies who aren't enforcing safety measures in their workplaces or public policy that isn't controlling the spread of the virus. All this messaging is similar to how corporations shifted the burden of responsibility for pollution and littering in the 1970's onto the individual ("Don't be a litterbug!"), when it was their creation of single dose pop cans and the swift rise and production of excess packaging that created most of the litter problems. Corporate America turned the argument around so they didn't have to change their practices and accept the blame for causing all the environmental destruction that they created....more14minPlay
December 05, 2020Tidying Up My Space 112420I talk some more about my creeping clutter and how I took massive action this week to reorganize, clean up and declutter. My space feels lighter, more open and happier....more16minPlay
December 04, 2020Reacting Vs. Setting Intentions 112220I talk about how I keep operating from a place where I'm reacting to things instead of setting my intention(s) ahead of time for how I want something to turn out. Abraham talks about segment intending and I mean to incorporate it into my life, but I keep forgetting. What would it take to remember to pre-frame my day or segment so I can get the most out of everything I do and put the highest intention for optimal outcomes out there into the universe?...more11minPlay
December 03, 2020Henry Is a Natural Marketer 111920I talk about how I had a conversation with Henry about how he's doing his marketing and networking and I can't help but marvel and what a natural he is at all this stuff. He's reaching out to influencers and looking at followers and buying ads occasionally and he just seems to "get" how all the social media stuff works. And it seems to be working for him and his business. I have had to learn all this stuff and I have found it difficult, cumbersome and unnatural (clear, transmute and delete!). At any rate, I'm very proud of Henry and all the steps he's taking to make his music a success....more16minPlay
December 01, 2020Turning My Mental Ship Around 111920I talk about how yesterday's podcast was a disaster and how my current attitude doesn't reflect all the positive work I've done on myself for the last two years. I reflect on all the changes I've made and how I'm not going to let the last few weeks and months of feeling crappy and out of sorts define who I am....more14minPlay
November 30, 2020Feeling Bi-Polar 111820I talk about all the clutter and noise pollution creeping into my life and then the dinging in my car sets me off and I go into another tirade about all the B.S. currently infecting my life. (Best to skip this one.)...more14minPlay
November 25, 2020Feeling About 80% 111620I talk about how I am FINALLY starting to feel better. My mood is improved and my body is coming along. I am hopeful that I have reached the light at the end of the tunnel re: this insanely long bout of food poisoning. Here's to hoping I'm out of the woods....more11minPlay
November 24, 2020Meditating Again ... Finally 111620I talk about how I finally took the time, remembered, felt good enough to meditate this past weekend and what a relief it was to get back in touch with my Higher Self. The two meditations were powerful and so helpful. I need to make an effort to meditate more often. I think a few minutes of reflection or intent to connecting with my Higher Self may be all that is needed, even though I feel like I should block out 30-45 minutes per session. Something really is better than nothing....more19minPlay
