On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes solo and has a ton of opinions and observations after studying the coaches All-22 film from the Buffalo Bills dismantling of Washington on the road in addition to analyzing several of the Pro Football Focus premium stats and grades assigned from the game.
As has been the story this season, Buffalo's defense has been the consistent rock of the team. Patrick has thoughts on a dominant defensive line, Terrell Bernard making impact plays and great outings for veterans Micah Hyde and Tre White.
Offensively, Patrick has a hard time understand how PFF's grades for the offensive line weren't more favorable. That aside, it was great outings for both Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, not to mention James Cook, who's relatively quietly becoming one of the league's better running backs.
That plus a look at Miami and much more.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Tone Pucks for his weekly visit to discuss the Buffalo Bills going to Washington and annihilating the Commanders in addition to some Buffalo Sabres talk.
It's no exaggeration to say the Bills defense brutalized Sam Howell and the Washington offense, to the tune of nine sacks, four interceptions and a fumble recovery. The guys talk about how Buffalo was able to so easily dominate, led by Terrell Bernard, who in just a few weeks has went from suspect starter to very likely the reigning AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
The offense wasn't too shabby either, with Josh Allen leading the Bills offense to three touchdowns and avoiding costly mistakes other than a meaningless interception. Patrick and Tone talk about his game, the offensive line looking great for a second straight week and Stefon Diggs continuing to play like one of the game's best receivers.
Even in a blowout win there's a couple of things to be concerned about. The guys hit on that in addition to the Sabres opening the preseason, some strong feelings Patrick Kane potentially coming to Buffalo and much more.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by friend and recurring guest Aaron Quinn (Cover 1) to provide a little preview of the Week three matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders in addition to talk about the good they had last weekend partying with each other and tons of Bills Mafia.
When the NFL schedule dropped in April many Bills fans circled Washington as an easily winnable game. Not so fast, maybe. It hasn't been against world beaters (Arizona, Denver) but Washington is 2-0 to start the season. The guys talk about an offense led by Sam Howell that's exceeding expectations early and a pass rush led by Chase Young and Montez Sweat that has the ability to give any offense problems.
The guys also spend some time discussing last weekend's Main Street Block party downtown, where they hooked up for a Cover 1 show and got to hang out and party with a bunch of Bills fans, something they don't do often. That plus a fun "Finish the Sentence" the segment and much more!

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is solo to offer a bunch of opinions after watching the coaches All-22 film from the Buffalo Bills convincing victory over the Vegas Raiders in addition to discussing and analyzing several of the Pro Football Focus premium stats grade handed out to Buffalo this week.
Josh Allen turned things around after an ugly debut against the Jets. Patrick goes over a bunch of numbers and instances on film that support Allen's strong bounce back. He also talks about James Cook taking the next step, Gabe Davis being an important part of the offense, tight end usage and a terrific performance by the offensive line.
Another stellar effort by Matt Milano highlights the defensive side of the ball and Patrick has issues with Greg Rosseau not being graded higher by Pro Football Focus this week. That plus some final thoughts on play action calls and sustainably long drives being a huge key in the Bills getting into the win column.

From elite running back usage and performance to Josh Allen's big game, Gabe Davis getting fully on track, stellar offensive line play and a defense that has looked good to start the season, there's plenty of positive vibes for the guys to discuss from the Bills home opener.
They also spend some time talking about a few areas of concern and a Washington team coming up this weekend that may not be the pushover and automatic win many thought they'd be before this season started.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo the tone is significantly different than last week, with Patrick Moran being joined by Tone Pucks to discuss everything from the Buffalo Bills much-needed blowout win over the Vegas Raiders, 38-10 in their home opener to improve to 1-1.
After turning the ball over four times last week and being primarily responsible for the Bills season opening loss to the New York Jets, Josh Allen was back in top caliber form against the Raiders. The guys discuss how different the Bills are when Josh is playing at this level.
They also discuss Gabe Davis' big game, loving the running back, a great performance from the offensive line, another strong effort from the defense and much more from this Bills home opener.
They also carve out some time to hit on a few controversial Bills related off field topics recently, including racist allegations against Terry Pegula and the hot mic incident during a press conference this week involving a team employee.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by recurring guest Anthony Marino of Buffalo Rumblings and Anthony provides some much-needed optimism when it comes to the Buffalo Bills after their humiliating opening week loss against the New York Jets.
The guys discuss several reasons to believe Buffalo will quickly turn things around, ranging from Dalton Kincaid having an impressive debut to the defense playing well in New Jersey, Stefon Diggs already looking in Pro Bowl form and quite frankly the fact that it's nearly impossible for Josh Allen to play any worse than he did last week.
They do also spend some time on a few things bothering Patrick still that are flying a bit under the radar, including limited Trent Sherfield usage, being over Cam Lewis on the field and worries about Jordan Poyer.
That plus an all-actors edition of "Finish the Sentence" and much more.
