Talking Supercoach with Streety & Oz

In this H2H, its about the big gun midfielders. After dominating for the Vics in State of Origin, which of the expensive mids should we be looking at? Is Bont worth the coin? Does Butters opening round fixtures help make him the obvious call? Is Daicos being underestimated? Or is he simply too big of a tag target? You can't start them all, so which one would the boys recommend?

In this weeks first episode of numerous fast paced short and sharp H2H's. The boys look at which athletic ruckman might be the one nudging in front as most likely to start in their sides. They talk role, experience, byes and all things that might sway you in your decision!

This week, the boys try something new. How valuable is any given SuperCoach player to your team structure in Salary Cap? Well let's find out! The boys take it in turns to draft a full team, within the salary cap to find out which players are the most important and which we can live without! Which line is the hardest to pick? What value players should we be leaning on? And which superstars are actually not that important to your team structure. Tune in to find out!

You would think on a line with Sheezel, Flanders and Treloar there wouldn't be much to discuss, but it turns out that isn't the case. The boys explore the 25 most highly owned players over $200k with some fascinating names coming up. Do we go for a Pod? Or is this a line to stick with the line and length? Tune in to find out!

If anyone tells you they are confident going into this year on which Rucks to pick, they are lying to you. And this chat might not necessarily help. But it will give you some information. The boys go deep on which Rucks are likely to be most impacted by the rules and which will thrive.  And whilst we may not have the answers, we might help you find them!

In this episode, we go deep into the midfielders that are probably in your team. The top 25 most owned brings about some names you would expect, and some names you wouldn't. Is Errol a no brainer? Why is Sam Walsh not in more teams? How many mid pricers is too many mid pricers? The boys explore this and more in our mids deep dive.

This week, the boys go deep on every single defender that could be in your team. Every single one of the top 25 owned defenders gets discussed in detail. Which players surprise us? Which should be in more teams? Ultimately, you will leave this podcast with absolutely no question marks on any relevant defender. If they aren't covered today, don't bother picking them.

We've told you the pods you should be hunting, but what's even more important? Which highly owned players should you be avoiding? There are some CRAZY ownership numbers at the moment, and the boys let you know about it. Names like Xerri, Rozee, Draper, McKercher, Gulden and Serong just to name a few. Listen in to hear why these players are owned by too many teams, and which players should be the anti-pod.

We have ownership numbers! And you know what that means, it's time to talk Pods. And whilst Streety may believe that you pick pods at your peril, there is nothing more fun that getting on board that player that nobody else has and seeing them thrive. So this year where are the pods hiding? Which players are we shocked to see so low? And which players would we consider? There will no doubt be some names that you haven't been thinking about all pre-season, in this weeks ep!

This week, the boys take a step back. it's time to take a deep breath, ignore the excitement and the chaos, and remember some key rules for the year ahead. How do we build out our starting teams? What should we avoid? Which rules should we never break? And which ones are we likely to break in the weeks ahead. This week, it's all about making sure we don't make the same mistakes twice!
