We’re excited to be welcoming back to the show our pal Graeme Nichols - better known to Ottawa Senators fans as the 6thSens!
Please take a moment to support the podcast by leaving us a rating and a review inside your app. It just takes a second but helps us out a ton.
We’ve got lots to discuss with Graeme including the Sens recently firing Pierre Mcguire, the passing of Eugene Melnyk and where the organization goes from here, some possible names who might be looking to purchase the team, the season in review, what Dorian might be looking to do through the off-season, what it will take to get this squad in to the Stanley Cup Playoffs next year and which series have caught his eye in this year’s playoffs so far.

The Toronto Maple Leafs put together a fine comeback in Game 5 to push the Tampa Bay Lightning to the brink of elimination.
Matt and Matty are here to break it down with lots of talk on a big performance from the Big 4, the fact that neither team has yet figured out the referees standard for a penalty, Jack Campbell's work in a big game, John Tavares and William Nylander joining the party, Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner doing their part and whether or not we're feeling confident that these Leafs can finish the job.

The guys have lots to discuss including Kyle Clifford’s ejection and whether or not it will cost him his spot in the lineup, Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews coming out on fire and getting the monkey off their backs, a hot Toronto crowd at Scotiabank Arena and lots more.

We’re back with another Monday morning edition of the TCA podcast and Rob is back in studio with tons to get to.
Do us a solid and leave us a rating and a review there inside your podcast app. It makes a huge difference for us and just takes a second.
The boys kick things off with the usual craft beer chatter before getting in to some Jays talk. Your Toronto Blue Jays have an incredible record despite their tough start to the season but how are they getting it done with injuries to some key contributors and some big bats not yet on fire?
And then, of course, talk turns to the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The guys get in to an underrated matchup between the St Louis Blues and the Minnesota Wild, why the Edmonton Oilers have some pressure to overcome here and why the Colorado Avalanche matchup with the Nashville Predators might be a bit of a sleeper.
As we move East Matt wants to get a look at a very interesting Pittsburgh Penguins vs New York Rangers showdown while Rob isn’t sure the Carolina Hurricanes will be able to stand up to the Boston Bruins.
And then - it’s main event time as we look at the good and the bad for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they line up against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

This is Vanessa’s debut appearance on the show so we’ve got lots of ground to cover with her including the time she rushed the stage at a Michael Bolton concert? Yeah - that’s a story you need to hear!
Also inside this one - how far do your sports superstitions go? Why does Connor McDavid’s career high in points seem like just another day at the office for the best in the world? What does Vanessa make of all the talk of an upcoming PWHPA lead professional women’s hockey league? Who should win the NHL’s MVP award?Plus tons more!

We’ve got a bonus show show for you this week with lots of news and notes from across the sporting landscape. Let’s hit it!
TCA would love it if you’d take a second to leave us a rating and a review inside your podcast app. It makes a huge difference for us and just takes a second. Be a pal and help us out.
Matt’s got tons to get to on this one including the fact that a bored billionaire has purchased Twitter to tell you what free speech is, the real story on where the Toronto Maple Leafs stand heading in to the playoffs and why things are nowhere near as dark as many would have you believe, the Toronto Blue Jays are punching above their weight when you consider all the injuries they’re currently dealing with, the Winnipeg Jets disingenuously tell you a new record has been set, NHL players with less than a high school education dumbly hating on the Vegas Golden Knights and plenty more.
We recently had Michael Barclay on the show to discuss his new book “Hearts On Fire: Six Years That Changed Canadian Music (2000-2005)” and the book is available now. You can find our chat with Michael here: https://www.tallcanaudio.com/episode/tca951
