Tasting Notes - With Bryn and Jaff

This week Bryn and Jaff use their new-found wine knowledge to analyse a Chilean Pinot Noir....but have they actually learnt anything? Jaff tries to go to Belgium looking for electro-cicadas but repeatedly ends up in Scandinavia, Bryn has a revelation about simple maths and gets an unusually depressing Danish lesson, and for the first time they rate an album out of ten....for no discernible reason whatsoever.

The musical releases this week have been absolutely incredible. Covering genres from funeral-doom, shoe gaze, post-metal and many more....there's a lot to talk about so get yourself ready for a deep dive into these records!!

In this episode Bryn and Jaff pick up a wayward traveller in the form of Mr Jake Doherty, a man who just so happens to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of wine and a hearty interest in alternative music.....he even happened to bring two bottles with him......how convenient.

The usual chaos ensues, including discussions of Oregon cadavers, Bryn's lack of underpants, French vineyards being invaded by alien life forms.....and some genuinely interesting facts about wine. More importantly though, what will Jake think of the unique scoring system?

This week Bryn and Jaff go organic!! Once again, there's been another slew of great albums for us to get stuck into this week....if we can find time in between our riveting discussions about international gigolo's, Bryn's tropical plums, salt-baked beets and the occasional dragon. Grab a glass and join us in the absurdity...

In this week's episode, Bryn and Jaff tackle the "racy" world of white wine....suspenders and all!

Jaff's swede gets a bit "nonky" , Bryn pops to the shops to buy some cabbage whilst whistling Pissgrave, and they actually get rather serious when they start talking about the "stonkingly" good selection of music releases from the past week.
