Hello friends, we’re back with more Tea & Squee, and in this episode we’ll be wrapping up our coverage on the Bridgerton TV series. We are spilling all the tea season 2 of Bridgerton which focuses on the eldest Bridgerton, Anthony.

Tune in to hear all of our thoughts on the antics and absolute messy drama that happened this season! From the little love triangle between the Sharma sisters, Edwina and Kate, & Anthony, to Penelope trying to keep her Lady Whistledown secret from Eloise. This season was packed full of steamy moments that had us on the edge of our seats.

Hello, hello friends we’re back with our FINAL episode covering the Twilight Saga! We’re once again joined by our dear friend Allie to spill the tea on parts 1 and 2 of the Breaking Dawn movies. This has been four months of total chaos, but we’re so thrilled to finally be concluding our coverage on the Twilight Saga (and for Alyssa to stop having dreams about Twilight).

In this episode we’re comparing the differences between the books vs. the films, but something we noticed with Breaking Dawn, is that the movies are pretty much in sync with the books. Well…except for the final battle scene in Breaking Dawn part 2, but we go into depth on how that scene shocked the pants off of people. We also talk about the horrifying CGI baby Regurgitation (Renesmee) had and different ways that could’ve been solved. But we are squeeing with delight over all the cute fluff going on in Breaking Dawn Part 1, from the gorgeous wedding to the absolute beauty of “honeymoon Edward.”

Hello, hello chaos kingdom we’re back with another episode of Tea & Squee! We’re wrapping up the second part of our coverage on the Breaking Dawn book, and once again we’re joined by our good friend Allie. Get ready for lots of chaos as we start to bring our Twilight coverage to a close!

In this episode we’re discussing the end of Breaking Dawn and we’re back with our girl Bella, but this time she’s finally a vampire! We enjoyed seeing Bella adjusting to her new life as a vampire, the horrifying creature that is her daughter Resume (Renesmee), and how all the jigsaw pieces come together at the end of the novel. However, we felt the need to comment on our disappointment with Bella’s very controlled newborn vampire tendencies and the gross dynamic between Jacob and Regurgitation (Renesmee). We also discussed our favorite books and moments throughout the whole saga!

Hello friends, we have a very special episode of Tea & Squee for you! We’re covering the first half of Breaking Dawn in this episode, but more importantly we have our very first guest on the show. This week we’re welcoming our good friend Allie from undergrad to help us spill the tea on Breaking Dawn. This episode is full of absolute chaos, so you better hold on tight spidermonkey!

In this episode we’re covering books 1 and 2 in the final book of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. We get both Bella and Jacob’s perspectives in this novel and we have so many opinions on it! Starting off we discuss Bella’s sudden desire for motherhood, how Alice is Bella’s biggest wing-woman in her journey to getting with Edward, and how Jacob is a surprisingly decent narrator.

Hello friends! We’re so excited to be back after our holiday hiatus with more Twilight content for you all, in this episode we will be covering the first half of Eclipse. Before you listen to this episode we do want to address that this episode and the next two will have mentions of sexual assault and grooming. Eclipse is a pretty heavy book and our approach on this episode is a bit more critical in a literary way than in previous episodes. We talk a lot about Edward and Bella’s shifting relationship dynamic, Bella as a character and how she has to fight so hard to be heard, and Charlie’s fall from being a 10/10 dad to not prioritizing his daughter. We have some squee moments as well, like the addition of the most perfect and sweet character: Seth Clearwater and our undying love for Rosalie.

In this episode we talk about Stephanie Meyer’s cultural appropriation of the Quileute Tribe’s stories and her depiction of the tribe itself throughout the series.
