Tea & Squee

Hello friends, welcome back to Tea & Squee! We are continuing through reading and watching the Twilight Saga and in this episode we are covering the book, New Moon. Due to New Moon's massive plot this episode will be split into two parts, the next episode will be posted next Sunday.

But in this first part we're covering the first two Acts of the book and we have so much to say about Stephanie Meyer's literary devices, Edward and Jacob being twats for most of the book, Charlie being the ultimate dad, and our hot take on Bella's character development.

We'll have our good ol' Zillenial Quiz Time, Ship Talk, and so many more Tea & Squee moments in the next part of our coverage on New Moon. See you all next time!

Hello, hello friends! We are very excited about this week's episode covering the first Twilight movie, which is in tandem with our coverage on the first book. You'll be thrilled to hear we don't spend an hour discussing the plot in this episode.

But we are spilling the tea on the major differences between the movie and the book! Like how there's a night and day difference between the book meadow scene vs. the movie one, and the lack of any conversation between Bella and Edward. However, we are squeeing and swooning over all of Carlisle's entrances.

For our Zillenial Quiz Taking Time we took a lovely quiz telling us to build a playlist to find out which Twilight Character would be our bff. Link is below:

We'll be covering the rest of the Twilight Saga in episodes to come, and then discussing the movies based on the franchise. It's another long episode, but we have SO much to say about the first book.

In this episode we spill the tea on all things Twilight, like Renee's questionable parenting skills, Bella and Edward's insta-love relationship, and how Carlisle is the true Zaddy of the Twilight Saga.

We'll be having a Twilight themed quiz for each episode but for this first one we get to find out which Cullen matches our personality, see the link below!

Hi friends, welcome back to Tea & Squee! This week we are squeeing about a brand new musical called Starry, where we follow Theo and Vincent Van Gogh through their creative endeavors and how they find true expression. It's based off of the letters between the Van Gogh brothers!

It's hard for us to stop squeeing about this musical, it has a lush contemporary pop/rock score, a beautiful message about love and perseverance, and a stellar cast. The musical is still in development but we already consider it one of our favorite shows! Seriously, go give it a listen, you can find the full concept album on Spotify.
