Ricky Burns vs. Julius Indongo is official for April 15th at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. It’s unification bout between respective WBA and IBF light-welterweight champions with the winner potentially getting a megafight against Manny Pacquiao.

 

Burns has been waving the flag as Scotland’s best boxer in recent memory; however, he seems to be on the decline. Unknown Indongo leaped on the scene with a Knockout of the Year Candidate over the Eduard Troyanovksyy in December.

The evolving saga that is the love triangle of Kell Brook, Amir Khan and Errol Spence Jr. continues to get intriguing. Eddie Hearn has requested another four weeks from the IBF “for negotiations [with Spence].”

 

Errol Spence Jr. is his mandatory, but it seems that Eddie Hearn still has Amir Khan as a possibility. Whoever Brook faces next it looks to be in May and in the UK according to Hearn.

The fight that has been rumored for weeks now, has finally been confirmed. According to Fox Sports Australia, Bob Arum and Jeff Horn will have a press conference 1:30 PM local time to announce Manny Pacquiao vs. Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia.

The promotion for the “MIDDLEWEIGHT MADNESS” showdown between Kazakh native, Gennady “GGG” Golovkin and Brooklyn's own, Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs started with a bang today in New York City with its first of two press conferences. Today in New York City and Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 11, respectively. The press conference which was not open to the public was held at Madison Square Garden, the location of the PPV bout on March 18th. 

Over social media, the hashtag #GGGJacobs was trending for a fight that is more than two months away, a great sign for K2 which looks to rebound in GGG’s second PPV card after a disappointing buy rate for Golovkin vs. Lemieux in October of 2015.

Chris Eubank Jr vs. Renold Quinlan bout was in jeopardy a few days ago people questioned whether this fight would even take place, with rumors of Quinlan pulling out due to "Lack of Promotion." The speculation began immediately amongst the boxing industry Chris Eubank Jr will challenge for the IBO super-middleweight title on February 4 Boxing fans will have to pay £12.95 or $15.75 to watch Chris Eubank Jr take on Renold Quinlan on ITV pay-per-view. 

 

And with less than three weeks to go, the undercard is also taking shape with heavyweight David Price set to feature as he takes on Christian Hammer.

 

Price said: "To be able to do that on an ITV channel, a broadcaster which has such a rich history of live sport, is a dream come true."

Shawn Porter who we have not seen since his loss to Keith Thurman in a fight of the year candidate has taken to social media to attempt to force  Andre Berto to step into the ring.

The Chris Eubank vs. Renold Quinlan PPV bout for February 4th is in jeopardy due to the lack of promotion, according to Quinlan. Quinlan broke the news through an interview with Mirror Sport earlier today.

"It’s only a few weeks away, and I've got the feeling that it’s going to be delayed. There’s been no media around it, and it’s not getting the exposure it should be.

 

"I've been training well, but I’m not 100 per cent focused now.“I have a feeling it's going to get pulled."
