Imposter syndrome, public speaking, getting fired, making a mistake—nearly 9 in 10 employees suffer from fears related to their work, and business owners aren’t immune to these fears either. This week, we delve into these various fears and triggers in the workplace, uncovering their links to deeply-rooted Samskaras. While confronting and releasing these energy blockages might result in temporary discomfort or pain, doing so will ultimately lead to a more fulfilled life and better handling of work-related stress and fears.

It’s no secret that businesses are experiencing a bit of contraction in our current market, and as we approach the new year, it is essential that we learn to adapt to these natural ebbs and flows in order to succeed in business.
This week, I provide a four-step approach for gaining clarity: awareness and acceptance of your current situation, narrowing your focus, setting short-term actionable goals, and trusting the process while preparing for future growth. And of course, we discuss how this same process applies to your personal growth, as well!

How do you know when you’re truly “ready” to do the inner work? You may think you’re ready, but then find you’re not yet willing or able to endure the hardest parts of the process. We discuss the concept of being “ready, willing, and able” in relation to personal growth and spirituality, drawing analogies to real estate, business, and sports. We stress the importance of being open to doing the inner work and being prepared to face the discomfort brought about by personal growth. Once you get past the hardest yet most crucial phase, it’s important to remember that the journey is never over. Life will repeatedly hand us opportunities to learn how to handle discomfort and embrace challenges. The process, while challenging, leads to deeper self-understanding and realization.
So you’re on your own spiritual growth journey. You’re seeing massive positive changes in your own life, you’re enthused, elated, and eager to share the magical power of spirituality with the world! But as you share your experience with your family, friends, or coworkers, you find that your enthusiasm is only met with resistance or negativity. How do you encourage others to embark on their own transformative journey while staying humble and without imposing change on them? We discuss how to let your example create curiosity in others and how to make sure you’re encouraging others from a place of love and understanding, not from ego.

We conclude the Spirituality 101 series by diving into the topic of surrender. We explain how surrendering is not passive, it is about letting go of the part of you that can't handle a situation so that you can actually handle it. I encourage listeners to welcome disturbances as opportunities for growth and assure that with continued practice, one can walk through the world undisturbed. Embrace each experience fully, and embrace the process, even if it is painful, as this pain leads to the ultimate peace.

Vision boards, Your Future Self, goal setting—these can all be powerful tools for manifestation if you enjoy them! But if we use them to keep a stranglehold on our goals and desires, how can we surrender to life’s path and find our true purpose?
This week, we emphasize the importance of self-realization as the primary purpose in life, and how learning to surrender to unsuspected life paths can often lead to surprisingly successful outcomes. By aligning our actions from a place of inner clarity, we can more easily allow life to unfold naturally and enjoy the journey along the way.

“My heart dropped.” We all know this feeling. And yet, we are aware that, even in those moments where it feels like our heart is in our stomach or leaping out of our chest, our physical heart hasn’t moved. So what causes these wild feelings and why do we label them in this way?
In this episode, we discuss the difference between our physical heart and our spiritual heart. You'll learn how the energy of your heart, affected by external events, can be managed to establish inner harmony. We also explore the process of spiritual growth, likening it to a snake shedding its skin or sandpaper smoothing out rough surfaces. This episode offers practical examples and personal anecdotes that will guide you in identifying your triggers and using them as stepping stones for personal growth.
Have you ever felt inspired? Like the time that one brilliant idea that just popped in your mind one moment in the shower? Now compare that to that nagging thought that continually pops into your head: “I should take advantage of that franchise opportunity”. It returns to you over and over again. Is that a sign you should do it? Or is there something deeper at work?
Caitlin and I discuss how to tell the difference between listening to your “gut” in those moments of inspiration versus acting based on what your ego is telling you to do.
