Alexa is joined by Maya Grant this episode to talk about being a British actor in Vancouver. Alexa has been asked a lot over the last year by listeners about why she's in Canada and how she finds it...so here are all the answers! The why's, the how's and the marked differences between the industry in "Hollywood North" and London/the U.K.

Alexa and Katie are back for SERIES 3!! Wow! From apprehensive actors questioning the first ever episode to launching a 3rd series...thank you for your ongoing support of The 98%. There are some brilliant guests lined up for this series and thanks to Zoom Katie and Alexa are still able to chat to them together despite being 4,000 miles apart from each other with Alexa in Vancouver and Katie in London. With that being said the audio quality isn't the best but hopefully you are here for the content and laughs, not a professional studio listening experience!! So sit back, grab a cuppa (or a gin) and get ready for the third series of The 98%; the first-of-its-kind-actor podcast discussing what it's really like being an actor who isn't on Graham Norton's couch......yet.

Our lives feel like the plot of a Black Mirror episode and everything's gone tits up. Thanks to zoom, Alexa and Katie were able to record an episode to hopefully cheer you all up and bring some solidarity - despite them now being 4000 miles away from each other!

[Although we've never been high tech/fancy production podcasters (we're 98% actors guys we can't afford that!!) quality is a bit different here because we are recording over video chat. We hope you can look past that and still enjoy The 98%. Thank you for being here!]

Series 2 of The 98% comes to a close with Katie and Alexa going back to basics; a chinwag, sharing of listener write-ins and general #actorslife realness.
It is all thanks to you listeners that The 98% was back for a second series. We work 4 jobs between us as well as pursuing acting, writing and filmmaking but the time we spend on the podcast is made so worthwhile by your tweets/emails/spreading of the word. We cannot emphasise how much we appreciate every interaction and new download we get. Thank you. *Please note that at time of recording we had planned a few more episodes which then unfortunately fell through. So originally this finale would have been released around November time hence our mentioning of Christmas - but it's only October so ignore us and don't think about Christmas yet!!*

In a 2 part agent special Alexa and Katie chat to two insightful people about all things agents. The guest in part 1 is James Davies...after being an agent for 9 years James very recently left the profession for a new adventure which means he can talk openly and honestly about #agentlife which Alexa and Katie take full advantage of!
