This week, the planets are moving. Jupiter retrogrades on Wednesday, and retrograde Pluto turns direct on Friday.
Let's take Jupiter first. Lucky and abundant Jupiter retrogrades in Gemini for the next five months on Wednesday, the 9th. When Jupiter is retrograde, its effects are more internal, psychological, and emotional. We are less concerned with the things happening in our outside world and more interested in inner work and self-reflection.
Jupiter is the planet of expansion, and when it goes retrograde, it wants us to go back over the past and reflect on what we may have missed the first time around. We get second chances. If there’s anything you wish you would have done, you’re getting another chance to do it now.
It is also the planet of philosophy and governs our higher mind, so when it is retrograde, we often change our way of thinking and our minds expand. This is the perfect time to read more books, watch documentaries, and have deep discussions with people who think differently than you.
Having been in Capricorn since 2008, Pluto has spent the last five months in retrograde. It now begins to move forward once more in Capricorn for the final month of our lives. Pluto enters Aquarius next month, where it will stay until 2043.
While Pluto has been in Capricorn, our power structures and foundation our our society have been transformed. Now, as Pluto gets ready to leave Capricorn, the changes will intensify. And it's no coincidence that all of this is happening only one month before the election.
The fabulous news is that Pluto is moving into Aquarius, pushing us toward a more humanitarian world. This shift will bring progress, innovation, and transformation to our societies. We finally understand that we're all in this together.
This is the final phase of Pluto's transit through Capricorn. Even though it's intense, it's bringing about the changes we need to live in a world that is far better, more equitable, and compassionate.

October is here and we are still in the thick of Eclipse Season. Eclipse season is when the past and future merge, but at this moment we're in a state of flux where neither exists. It may feel like being in a time warp.
Let's begin with October's numerology. According to numerology, October is a 9 Universal Month. Nine months are about completion, reflection, and letting go. It’s a time for wrapping things up, clearing old energy, and making room for new beginnings. This month we’ll be more introspective and thinking about what has worked for us and what no longer aligns with us.
The eclipse on Wednesday is an annular one. An annular eclipse occurs when the moon partially obscures the sun, leaving us to only see its outline, which looks like a ring of fire.
Solar eclipses bring rapid and unexpected changes. They are a doorway to our future. And new ways forward open up for us.
It’s a time to reset, rethink, and start fresh. The moon blocking the sun is similar to us unplugging, plugging in again, and rebooting. This reboot is important and necessary for moving forward. It provides us time to reflect on our lives, reevaluate our goals, and make any necessary adjustments.
Everything is accelerated by the energy of a solar eclipse, bringing to the surface issues that may have been simmering. These issues have been holding us back in some way. Now we have to deal with them so that we can move forward.
We normally set intentions around new moons, so you would think that an intense eclipse like this would be a fantastic time to do so. However, because eclipses include so much erratic energy, this is not the case.
Because eclipses bring sudden and unexpected changes, the energy can feel wild and unstable. Rather than setting intentions in the usual way, It’s best to use this time for reflection and release. Instead of setting specific goals right now, it’s better to set broader intentions around being open to change and trusting the process.
New beginnings and changes are here. Remember that events happening during eclipse season are fated. This may ease your anxiety a little bit. All the changes are meant to be and get us moving forward on a new course and a new adventure.

Today is the fall equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. Since it falls in the middle of eclipse season this is one powerful equinox.
The equinox is always about balance. It’s one of two days a year when we have equal parts day and night. This year, it falls between the solar eclipse on October 2nd, which happens in a week, and the lunar eclipse last week.
The equinox brings some much-needed balance to our lives. It allows us to take a deep breath and unwind. This equinox helps steady us and gets us back in balance before the upcoming solar eclipse.
The fall equinox also coincides with the first day of Libra season. This is one of the loveliest seasons of the year. It’s all about harmony, beauty, partnership and balance.
Lovely Venus rules Libra. The seventh house of partnerships is also associated with Libra. Relationships come to the forefront now because Libra is the sign that rules partnerships.
Venus enters the more intensely emotional and intimacy-seeking sign of Scorpio on Sunday as well. With this change, relationships may feel intense and be more passionate.
With so much happening with eclipses and the equinox, we’ve forgotten about all the planets retrograde this fall. Right now Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron, are retrograde, and Jupiter goes retrograde in a couple of weeks. This is a lot of retrograde energy.
Retrograde periods like this are times of reflection and inner work. We’re experiencing internal shifts. And while that’s happening outer manifestations slow down. Although it could appear that nothing is happening, that we're stuck or in a holding pattern, things are in fact happening. It’s all happening internally, and the changes there will soon manifest themselves in the outside world.
The last full moon of summer is on Tuesday, the 17th, at 10:35 p.m. ET and 7:35 p.m. PT. September’s full moon is known as the Harvest Moon. The Harvest Moon is the closest full moon to the fall equinox and represents the peak of the harvest season.
The Harvest Moon represents a season of abundance. It's time to harvest the crops that were planted many moons ago. Spiritually, the Harvest Moon represents a time of culmination. It’s an excellent checkpoint to see how far you have come with your intentions and goals this year.
This moon is extra special because it’s a supermoon and a partial lunar eclipse. Partial lunar eclipses occur when the full moon, sun, and Earth are not perfectly aligned. The moon will only be partially covered by the Earth’s shadow.
Eclipses are like cosmic power surges. They are pivotal moments in our life. They shake things up and bring big changes. Some of the most memorable moments in our lifetimes take place near eclipses.
Eclipses also bring fated or karmic changes in our lives. Eclipses help us break free from old patterns, complete karmic cycles, and move toward our soul’s purpose.
Lunar eclipses are linked to endings and letting go. Eclipses fast-track our spiritual evolution, often bringing sudden and unexpected changes that align us more closely with our karmic path.
Over the next two weeks, there will be a solar eclipse, a fall equinox, and a lunar eclipse, marking a powerful period of change. You won't be the same person in 2 weeks. So if you've been hoping and waiting for something to happen. It's here!
We are officially in Eclipse Season. Eclipse energy begins to build two weeks before the actual eclipse and intensifies as the eclipse approaches. If you’re feeling a shift and there’s something in the air, you’re probably picking up on the upcoming eclipse vibes!
Eclipses are like cosmic wild cards—they can alter our lives in ways we cannot anticipate. They also bring karmic events or experiences that are destined. They redirect your path, helping you follow your soul's journey.
They also signify the end of one stage and the beginning of another. The energy is building this week for a major ending and release on the 17th with the lunar eclipse.
Eclipses can also drain our energy and leave us feeling overwhelmed. Next week's lunar eclipse in Pisces may leave us emotionally drained. Make sure to get some extra rest and avoid overcommitting yourself.
On Monday, 9/9 Mercury moves into Virgo. Mercury moves from Leo's Yang, fire energy to Virgo's Yin, earth energy. Mercury loves being in Virgo, and when it’s there, Virgo’s self-critical energy can be channeled positively.
This is an opportunity for us to improve the way we speak to ourselves. We have the chance to stop continually criticizing ourselves, as so many of us do.
Monday is also 9/9. Two nines doubles the energy associated with the number nine, which represents the end of a cycle. Monday is a great day to finish things and prepare for the upcoming shifts.
9 is also the number of spiritual growth and enlightenment, making Monday a good day to take stock of your life and spiritual goals. Since we’re in Virgo season, this is the ideal time to finally establish a regular spiritual practice.

September starts with a bang as Pluto and Uranus go retrograde today. On Monday, there will be a new moon in Virgo. This is an important moon because it’s the final new moon before the start of eclipse season.
Let’s begin with the numerology for September. September is a 8 universal month in an 8 year. Power, ambition, material and financial prosperity, and abundance are all associated with the number 8. When an 8 month occurs in an 8 year, all of those factors are amplified, making it even more abundant, with more financial success.
In numerology, the numbers 8, 9, and 1 are often grouped and represent a cycle of endings and new beginnings. A three-month cycle of endings and new beginnings starts in September.
Pluto retrogrades back to Capricorn for the very final phase of his transit in Capricorn on Sunday. This is the last time in our lifetime we experience the combination of energies of Pluto and Capricorn. We’re also wrapping up a 20-year chapter of Pluto in Capricorn.
Also today, Uranus goes retrograde. Uranus is the planet of revolution, progress, and rebellion. When it retrogrades in slow Taurus, we get the time to take baby steps forward. We have time to think about how we want to evolve. There’s no need to rush the process.
The Virgo New Moon is on Monday. The fact that every planet is active in some way means that this moon is infused with an abundance of additional energy. This is a lot of energy to manage, and it may cause anxiety, restlessness, or overthinking.
This new moon is about setting intentions for fall. Virgo helps us with planning, organizing, and carrying out our plans. Making steady progress forward is going to feel amazing and will help keep us grounded during this big time of change.

Do you feel it? There's a hint of fall in the air. The transition from summer to fall is a big energetic shift. You may not feel like yourself. You may feel burned out, and sluggish with no energy.
The transition from one season to another is a vulnerable time when we want to pay attention to our health. We want to prepare ourselves for these transitions so that we are aligned and work with them instead of spending our energy and health fighting against them.
According to Ayurveda, the hot Pitta summer gives way to the cool, windy fall Vata season. Our immune system and digestion weaken during that time. We experience issues linked to dryness, such as gas and bloating, constipation, chapped lips, anxiety, or insomnia.
We want to balance this transition from hot and wet, to dry and cold, otherwise, a Vata-Pitta imbalance leads to burnout. The key to a smooth transition is to gradually shift your daily routine and diet.
The good news is that we were officially in Virgo season. Simply put, it's simpler to establish routines and get organized during Virgo season. Routines balance all the dosha, especially Vata.
We can breathe a sigh of relief on the 28th when Mercury goes direct. Because of the retro shade phase, which lasts for two weeks, we aren't completely clear. But things get better when it comes to traveling, technology, and communication.
Venus moves into Libra on the 29th. Libra is Venus’s home sign and it loves it there. Venus in Libra restores balance and harmony to our life. Venus in Libra is the ideal remedy to help calm any potential Mercury retrograde symptoms that may have arisen.
We’re in some great energy as August comes to an end. Summer might be almost over, but these next few weeks will be peaceful and lovely.
This week there are a couple of things happening that shift our energy. The first one is the Full moon in Aquarius on Monday, the 19th. This is the sturgeon moon and it’s also a supermoon and blue moon.
There are two kinds of blue moons and neither has anything to do with the actual color of the moon. There is a monthly blue moon which is the second full moon in a calendar month. And then there’s a seasonal blue moon, like this one. A seasonal blue moon is the third full moon in a season that has four full moons.
This full moon is in Aquarius. Aquarius is unconventional, innovative, and rebellious. On the full moon, we’re still in Leo season for a few more days. Leo season and this full moon are all about us! We have an opportunity to take a step back and look at our lives from above, from a higher and objective perspective, to see whether we might have been too self-centered.
When a Full Moon in Aquarius occurs during Mercury retrograde, we reflect deeply on ourselves. We consider whether we are the kind of people we want to be and how our lives have turned out. it's time to let go of the outdated versions of ourselves. Release the people-pleaser version, the unkind version, or the constantly busy version.
We have this time of introspection and then Virgo season begins on Thursday. Virgo season is a time to embrace productivity and organization. This energy is great for cleaning up messy parts of your life and dialing in your daily routine before fall starts. We are more enthusiastic about everyday tasks right now.
Mercury rules Virgo and since Mercury is retrograde throughout the first half of Virgo season, we’re reevaluating everything in our lives. Overanalyzing can be a problem for Virgos, particularly when Mercury is retrograde.
The energy with this Mercury Retrograde has been intense, and this full moon amps it up a little more. The universe may deliver a little tough love with this full moon and we could feel slightly shaken up. Remember that everything is OK. Take extra great care of yourself and enjoy the start of Virgo Season on Thursday.
Mercury went retrograde last week in Virgo, aligning with the potent 8/8 Lion's Gate and a New Moon, which amplified the energy. Mercury is changing signs this week, entering Leo, which adds more drama to our lives. Right now, it's easier to lose our cool.
When Mercury Retrograde moves into Leo, it brings back memories, exes and estranged friends, and long-forgotten dreams.
This week's main event is the Mars and Jupiter conjunction, which happens early on the 14th. When Mars, the planet of motivation, action, and energy, and Jupiter, the planet that makes everything bigger, meet up in Gemini, we get fired up and feel a surge of go-getter energy.
A conjunction is when two planets are at the same spot in the zodiac, boosting each other’s energies. In this case, Mars, the planet that encourages us to take initiative is meeting up with Jupiter, who inspires us to claim more out of life. This is one of the best energies for taking action and getting shit done.
But with all this powerful energy there could be some delays and setbacks because also this week Mars and Jupiter are forming a square with Saturn. Squares often cause friction, obstacles, and the need to adjust our plan.
Mars and Jupiter ignite our passion and inspire us. Saturn's role is to ground this energy into something tangible, lasting, and fulfilling.
Even though it may seem like things are moving slowly at times, we are still making progress. Keep working hard and pushing forward. We’re making big long-lasting changes right now. Keep at it.
A lot is happening in the sky this week. There was a New Moon early this morning. Venus also moves into Virgo today. Tomorrow, Mercury Retrograde starts, and the 8/8 Lion’s Gate happens on Thursday.
This New Moon in Leo is exceptionally positive and motivating. It forms a sextile with Mars and Jupiter. Mars is bringing the energy, amping us up, and refilling our gas tank. Jupiter gives us a sense of optimism and the belief that everything is possible.
Mercury goes retrograde in Virgo on Monday the 5th. This Mercury Retrograde feels like the Universe is handing us a giant magnifying glass. We see all the little details of our lives that aren't quite right. This is the perfect opportunity to put our world in order by fixing the little things that have been lying around for weeks sucking our energy.
The 8/8 Lion’s Gate takes place on Thursday. This date is also known as the Galactic New Year. Like a new year, it’s a powerful day for setting resolutions and goals. The Lion’s Gate Portal is when the Sun in Leo aligns with the star Sirius, and Earth, opening a portal to the higher realms.
The numerology of 8/8 is extremely powerful. The number 8 represents power and abundance. Every year we have an 8/8, but since 2024 is also an 8-year, this year's is more powerful than usual.
