This week brings one of the most uplifting energy shifts of the year as we welcome a Super New Moon in Gemini and Chiron's move into Taurus.

The Gemini New Moon encourages us to slow down, have some fun, and reconnect with the joy of being alive. This is not a week for overthinking, making major decisions, or trying to figure everything out. Instead, we're invited to spend time with friends, enjoy good conversations, stay open to new perspectives, and remember that life is meant to be experienced, not just managed.

I also explore the fascinating Sabian Symbol for this New Moon: "Children skating over a frozen village pond." This symbol reminds us that we don't have to wait for life to be perfect before we allow ourselves to enjoy it. Joy is available now, even in challenging times.

Adding to the energy, Mercury is slowing down as we enter the pre shadow phase of the upcoming Mercury Retrograde. This encourages us to slow our pace, be more present, and give ourselves permission to take a breath before the busy months ahead.

The biggest astrological event of the week happens on June 19 when Chiron, the Wounded Healer, moves into Taurus for the first time since 1983. Chiron has spent the last eight years in Aries helping us heal issues around identity, confidence, and self expression. Now the focus shifts toward healing our relationship with self worth, money, security, comfort, and what truly matters.

As technology continues to accelerate through Uranus in Gemini and the rise of AI, Chiron in Taurus offers an important balance. This transit encourages us to slow down, reconnect with nature, prioritize our well being, and create lives that feel meaningful rather than simply productive.

After months of nonstop forward momentum, this week brings a bit of relief ✨ With Pluto stationing retrograde on May 6, the energy softens just enough for us to pause, breathe, and get intentional about what’s next. It is the only retrograde until late June, giving us a small but meaningful window to reset.

Pluto retrograde happens every year, but the most intense part is right now when it stations and appears to stand still. Known as the Lord of the Underworld, Pluto governs transformation, power, and rebirth. As it turns inward, so do we. From now through October, the focus shifts from external change to deep internal transformation 🔮
