  • Tinkering With Ideas

Do you tinker? Do you tinker about goals and ideas? Tinkering is my way of taking something meaningful as a goal and breaking it down, so it isn't too big to handle and build anxiety. Listen in for more about how I do this. Also, here's the link for the Buy Me a Coffee again for those that asked. Thank you, and have a Very Merry Christmas and an Extremely Happy New Year!

  • Being Proud. Having Pride.

Being proud of what you've done or accomplished and or having pride about the same is important in our lives. It keeps us centered and moving forward, at least for me, but I wonder about others. Does everyone with disabilities feel the same way? Do others feel the same way I do "damn the torpedoes, they say," and go with it?  Let me know. I've added this link to our Buy Me A Coffee page. It's on the main site, but not everyone goes there. I was asked why by a listener why I didn't have a Buy Me a Coffee page. I do, and the link is above.

  • Holiday Conversations!

That's right, it's the Holiday season, and along with the festive cheer come the festive conversations at home, at dinners, at office parties, and more. We get invited to all these great conversations we've longed to be invited to, but it never happens. Although once a year we get invited to all of them at once. This is when the fun begins!

  • When Changes Matter

Jimmy Buffett has a song that made a great deal of sense to me when I first heard it titled Changes in Latitudes,  Changes in Attitudes. For me using visualization to help with anxiety and those trying creative moments living with ADHD, things were easier to deal with the first time I heard that song. It reminded me of my visualization techniques only in real life. I loved the ocean or, for that matter, any body of water that made me feel good. Living in New York City, I also loved just taking long walks. I would get out of the office and walk, sometimes longer than expected, so I could reach the Hudson river. I needed the water to calm me down. Changes in Latitudes or Longitudes worked for me. Try it.

  • The Holidays & ADHD

The holidays are upon us, and it's time for shopping. I'm talking about significant food and other items shopping. It's when you need lists, after lists, after lists to keep everything organized. Or maybe, like me, you don't use an index but need a list or want a list. Whatever, it's holiday time in the world, and your ADHD is on point.
