I love to start something new. It's been something I've loved to do since I was a kid. Whether it's a business idea or something creative like a drawing or sketch, I just love to start things. ADHD has a huge role in start-ups and how we deal with them, especially for me. Listen in and see if this fits you? More to come tomorrow.
You didn't think I worked on weekends? Well, I do and I had a lot of thinking going on upstairs in my ADHD brain today that I needed to work out and talk about to get it out of my head. This was my brain dump for today.

I had an issue yesterday that caused me to do some rethinking about everything I do. This includes the podcast, blogging, newsletters, and video if I do that. It made me realize that what we think will be okay sometimes in life doesn't work out. You always need to adapt to change and accept that adaptation.
Thoughts are always on my mind. Ramblings go along with those thoughts, so I put the two together again for a Wednesday podcast. I hope you enjoy and share this podcast with others. Thanks
I lose my train of thought constantly. Whether I'm in a one-on-one conversation or speaking to a group of 5 or 500, I will lose my train of thought. Is that a bad thing? Not really. It all depends on how you handle the situation. I have found, to be honest, all the time. It works best!

I'm always up for new things. This time, it took the idea of Mike Sturm's The Today Card and reversed how I could use it. I wasn't sure it would work with his system. I've done this before, but not with a system in place for grading my accomplishments. This time I reverse his system, and it seemed to work. So far! If you want to know more about his system contact me here...Mark & Patti
I'm not too fond of canned things. Things like speeches, projects, podcasts, and so on. What I mean by canned is pre-arranged lists or notes. A perfect example is a TO-DO list. I dislike TO-TO lists. I find them constricting and not very imaginative. I like living on the edge. Giving a speech with no notes or hosting a podcast with no notes. Maybe I don't sound all that professional, but I'd rather be that way than canned. How about you?
Unexpectedly I was at a loss for words when I started this podcast this morning. Then a light went off in my brain, and I found the words I had lost. I hope you enjoy it. Write to us at Mark & Patti
I wanted to cover this topic one last time for the week since I received an email asking me some questions about the podcast yesterday. I didn't mean for you to attack ADHD. I know it may have sounded that way, but it's more about the project at hand. Use ADHD to help you attack the project to completion and then move on. It's the little things that count.
We all know how ADHD works. We know that at that crucial moment when we're working on a project, ADHD will interfere with some great ideas that don't pertain to what we're working on, but there is a way to make things work. Attacking is a term I use when I want my ADHD to work with me and not against me. I get up knowing what I have to attack and garner support from ADHD before I begin. Then we as a team go to work.
