Technology has changed so much over the past few decades.  Where I used to spend my childhood evenings on the lake with family and friends playing board games and card games, today we find folks in front of portable computing devices "gaming."  Is this a good thing or a bad thing?  I'll leave that for you to decide.......

I will tell you this.  Video games always come along with me on any Airstream trip.

 Visual media is everywhere.  The web is full of still photos, portfolios, YouTube Videos, movies, and more.  Have you ever wondered if you're seeing this media the way the creators intended it to be seen?

There are many video and color settings out there depending on monitors, screens, TVs, etc.  Are your viewing devices displaying the colors accurately?  Can you even tell.  That's what we're talking about today!

Okay, the Airstream isn't abandoned, but I have been feeling some guilt over moving out of it.  It's been my home for over a decade.  All week long I've come up with excuse after excuse to go and pay it a visit.

I'll adjust, I'm sure.  And there will be Airstream trips in 2019.  So, looks like I've got to get over feeling bad about exiting the Airstream, and start looking forward to the adventures ahead.

There are many drone job websites out there for Part 107 Drone Pilots.  The big question is pretty simple.  Can you make money with these websites, or are the client requests undervaluing your work?  

The answer?  It depends on where you're located I believe.  It also depends on whether or not the jobs are located in places way off the grid, or in busy metropolitan areas.

These days it seems like many tech companies are "getting to big for their britches."  Do people still say that?  Well, today I have a positive experience to share about the tech company Anker.  Great customer support, and confirmation that I will continue being a happy customer.

Sadly, other companies that I have liked over the years are starting to fail when it comes to customer support, honesty in marketing, and getting people to pay for something that is unfinished.

Seriously......Skynet.  It's only a matter of time, the machines will take over.  Fortunately, if you look at the Artificial Intelligence software today you'll feel secure in the knowledge it's not any time soon.  

Companies touting "AI" features aren't really delivering on actual artificial intelligence.  Often it's a flimsy marketing technique and nothing more.  We'll talk about 2 software developers both offering AI, and the failure to really deliver.
